"Alright, let's get this party started!" Mulch's gruff voice filled my ears. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, because digging under a sea lab such a party." Syd laughed next to me as we make sure our straps were properly buckled across out chests as the truck bounced into motion. The sound of eight dwarfs simultaneously started digging. I looked to Jene and Artemis, who were both on their phones. "Who can you be texting?" I asked Jene, trying to look over her shoulder.

"No body. Just checking my phone before we drive into impending doom." Syd thought for a minute before pulling out her own phone and I tried to remember where I left mine. Wait, why should I care where my phone is? With a sigh, I hit the button on my headset so I could speak to the driver.

"Trouble, how long do you think this is going to take?" I asked.

"Depending on the Dwarfs, probably about fifteen minutes or so." I sighed and started picking at a loose string on my shirt when Syd smacked my hand. After a quick intense stare down, we both burst out into laughter.

"You realize that this is a potentially fatal mission and you two are laughing like children?" Artemis glared at us. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, it's not like we can really remember our childhood because we had our memories wiped, so we like to act like we're normal people sometimes. It help me deal with this at least." I explained. He furrowed his eyebrows and blinked at me.

"That's-" He paused. "Quite depressing." I laughed and lightly kicked him.

"But for us, it's normal." The rest of the ride was relatively silent, randomly broken by mindless banter until the truck slammed to a stop.

"Something wrong?" Jene asked over the mics.

"We're here." Trouble replied. Those two work, two simple words made my heart slam to my feet as we unbuckled our seat belts and piled out of the truck. "Now," Trouble pointed above us. "That's where you two are going in." He nodded to Syd and I. "Way over there is where Jene is going to rig the explosives. Mulch is making his way to the other side of the sea lab right now. When we tell him, he's going to bit a hole into the wall and cause a distraction for you. You two will have about five minutes to get in, find them and get out. As soon as you guys say, Jene's going to set the explosives for three minutes which will give you two enough time to get to the truck and us to get to a safe distance. Sound good?" Syd and I looked to each other and smiled.

"Perfect."

We grabbed out gear and I pulled out two pistols as Syd unsheathed her large sword. "Ready?" She asked. I smirked and winked with a nod. "Mulch, go." As soon as the words were said, we used a lazar to cut a circle into the steel above our heads and climb in. We ducked into a small room as footsteps pounded past and down the hall. Once it was clear, we ran.

Coming to a corner, I peaked my head around and gasped. There had to be twenty guards standing at a door, trying to get inside. "What's going on?" Syd hissed in my ear.

"I found the objectives." I smiled and slowly stalked around the corner, a smoke bomb in hand. "Hey, Assbutts!" I yelled. All eyes turned to me and I waved with a huge smile before throwing the smoke bomb and diving around the corner. Syd raised an eyebrow at me.

"Assbutt? You're quoting Supernatural now?" I laughed and grabbed my guns before we dashed around the corning and into the smoke.

It took about a minute before all twenty guards were laying on the ground, either moaning or not moving at all. I laughed and wiped some soot off my face, basically just smearing it, before turning to the door. I drew a single pistol and Syd grabbed the door handle, nodding to me.

The door flew open and I stalked inside, gun at the ready. "Stella?" As soon as I heard her voice, I dropped my guard.

"Holly, you're alive. Alright, you hurt?" She laughed and stood, wincing in pain at her arm as she did. "Butler?" The European man's massive frame slowly stepped out of the shadows. "Alright, we need to move. Syd, tell Arty boy we've got them." She nodded and quickly activated her headset.

"We've got them. Relatively unharmed. We're going to make our way back now, so count to thirty and set the bomb." Syd peaked out the door and nodded back to us. "We need to go." I tossed a gun to Butler and handed a pistol to Holly.

"Think you can shoot with your arm in that condition?" She grit her teeth and nodded. "Alrighty then, let's get a move on." We walked through the silver halls, Syd in front, Holly behind her, Butler helping her and myself bringing up the rear. Footsteps started up behind us, and I let out a small groan. We quickened our pace a bit more, but we were still about five hundred yards from the hole to the car.

I turned and started firing at the approaching figures. There had to be a hundred of the bastards. "We need to move faster!" I growled, throwing an explosive. The bang made my ears ring but I ignored it and kept firing. Throwing an empty pistol at the closest one and hitting him right in the face, I grabbed the AK-47 strapped to my back and started firing again. Butler smashed one into a wall before a large machete  from Syd. I tossed Holly another full clip and Syd covered my while I reloaded.

"We're not going to make it!" I groaned, slashing a guard in the face before jumping out of reach from another. Time seemed to slow as I watched a guard leap forward, knife in hand. I let out a scream and tried to stop him, but I was to late.

The knife sunk into Syd's shoulder and she dropped her sword. Rage instantly over came me and my vision turned red. They hurt her, and now they were going to pay. I picked up one of the guns a dead guard was carrying and started spraying, taking out about a dozen. One grabbed me from behind and tried to hold me as another took aim for my chest. Before he could even pull the trigger, I head-butted the one holding me and kicked the gun out of his hand. His eye were wide as I brought my other leg forward and round-house kicked him in the face.

Butler shot one trying to get to Holly as I helped Syd up. We weren't going to make it.

I almost lost hope, when a voice filled my ears.
