"What you want for breakfast?" I said as I turned to Cesar who was sitting at our kitchen table. "Chocolate chip pancakes!" Cesar smiled and I chuckled ,shaking my head. I love seeing a smile on my little brothers face.

I heard a knock at the door, I looked over at cesar who just shrugged at me. "Get the supplies out so I can make the pancakes, I'll be right back." I said and Cesar nodded. I made my way over to the front door and swung it open, revealing Selena. She gave me a half smile, "What's up." I said. "We haven't talked since I told you about the baby, I thought we could." She said, I looked down at her stomach to see it was poking out alittle but you could barely see it. How long has she been hiding her pregnancy from me?
"Come in." I moved to the side and allowed her in. "Hi Cesar." She greeted him, he just nodded. I lead her to the living room and let her sit on the couch. "So what ya wanna chop it up about?" I asked as I sat across from her. "Well, for starters, are you gonna be in the babies life?" She questioned. I knitted my eyebrows together. The fuck? Does she think I'm gonna be another statistic deadbeat dad?
"Of course I am." I frowned. She nodded, "I was just asking, I wasn't- I wasn't sure if you wanted to be. I thought you wouldn't be because you hated me." "First off, whatever bullshit me and you will have going on or got going on, will not interrupt the relationship I want with my kid. Second I don't hate you. I just find you annoying sometimes." I said bluntly. "We can co-parent but that doesn't mean you and I are together or gonna be, are we clear?" She nodded again, "crystal." She smiled weakly. "I just wanna be there for my kid. We're gonna be stuck with each other for eight teen years. Whatever you need just call me Alright?" I said. She smiled softly, "yeah, also I have a doctors appointment coming up, will you be there?" She replied and I nodded. "Yeah just text me." I said. "How far long are you anyways?" "Nine weeks."

I raised an eyebrow, "so your two months pregnant?" I asked. She nodded again. I looked down at her belly and smiled alittle. Barely. I was kinda excited to be having a kid. It sucks that it's not with who I wanted it to be with but I was gonna have a mini me walking around here. that makes me happy.
"I have to go to work but we'll talk some more over the phone." She said and I nodded. "Okay." I walked her out then I walked into the kitchen to see Cesar making the pancake batter.

"Aye, who told you to make the batter fool." I said and Cesar smiled sheepishly. "You we're taking too long." He said. I rolled my eyes, there was a knock at the door again and I sighed. "Who's at the fucking door now?" "Pour the chocolate chips into the batter, I'll be back." I told cesar and he nodded. I made my way over to the front door and opened It, on the other side of the door was Saiyr's group of friends. I raised an eyebrow at them. Never thought I would be seeing them at my door.
"What's up?" I said, folding my arms as I leaned on the door frame. "Spooky- Uh mr.spooky-" I chuckled. Why does everyone feel the need to call me Mr.spooky? What the hell did they think I was gonna do if they just called me spooky, blow their face off?
I watched as they all sucked in a breath at my sudden laugh. They were all scared shitless except adrían of course.
"We wanted to talk to you about Saiyr." Adrían said. "What about her?" "We've been worried about her,since the incident, she's been missing a lot of school for the past couple of days." The girl with the freckles said. I think Saiyr said her name was Cindy or Sydney. I don't know.
"And she won't talk to us or anybody, the only time she comes out is when she goes over to Ruby's house and ruby says she hardly talks to them."
I didn't know Saiyr was going through it that bad, it's all Brandon's fault, traumatizing my Angelita. He's gonna get his soon. I'm going to make sure of it. I just have to find him.
