"So, do You have a date to the homecoming dance?" I looked up from my artwork I was working on and to Adrian who was talking to cameron,We were currently in 4th period which was 3D art. Cameron shook his head, "Uh No. I don't think anyone is interested in going with me." He chuckled awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck. Adrian laughed "liar, there's like five girls who are interested in you and three of them are in this room." Adrian pointed behind us and I looked back to see the three girls staring at Cameron with dreamy like eyes and flirtatious smiles. "Why don't you go ask them." Adrian wiggled his eyebrows at him and Cameron playfully rolled his eyes. "I'm not interested in them." He said. He looked uncomfortable with this conversation. "What? You got someone else in mind?" Adri laughed, Cameron tensed up but it went unnoticed by Adrian. "Uh No." Cameron frowned before standing up and walking away to get paint. Adrian raised an eyebrow and looked over me, "what's his problem? I was just joking." I shrugged.
Cameron has definitely been acting weird lately, I wonder why.
"Maybe he's going through some things." I said. "Don't you think we should ask him about it? He knows he can talk to us about it right?" Adrian asked "of course he does just give him some time, he'll tell us when he's ready." I said with a soft smile and Adrian nodded.

"Everyone is getting asked to the homecoming dance and I'm over here lonely as fuck." Ashley pouted, looking around at all the couples in the cafeteria as we got our food. "If it makes you feel any better I don't have a date either." I said. "Aren't you going with Oscar?" Ashley raised a brow at me, I shook my head. "Oscars twenty and is not a student, so he can't come to the homecoming dance and I doubt he wants to." I said And she nodded. "Noted." She said as we carried our trays to our lunch table. "When are you guys gonna be boyfriend and girlfriend?" She asked as we took a seat at the table. "Yeah, I've been wanting to know that to." Olivia smiled as she sat on Cesar's lap. I frowned at them alittle, Cesar told me that after the football game Monse dumped him and  now he's trying to work things with Olivia which I thought was stupid. Him and Monse just need to tell the squad that they love each other, their only hurting themselves and ruby and Olivia. I knew Cesar didn't want to be with her, he was just forcing things with her. "Um, I don't know. We haven't really talked about it." I said. I actually was scared to talk about where Oscar and I stand to be honest. Did Oscar even want to be more than friends? Was this just a hookup
To him? Was he even ready to be tied down? "Maybe you should." Ruby said and everyone at the table nodded in agreement. "Maybe." I muttered. "But enough about my complicated relationship with Oscar, what about you guys? Got a date for homecoming?" I asked them all. "Me and jamal are going together." Monse said and I watched Cesar look to her sadly but she only avoided eye contact with him. "I wish I could go with Benny but he's not a highschool student." Emaza pouted a little. I gave her a soft smile, Tyler and Adrian raised an eyebrow, "my brother? Benny? Third in command of los santos? That Benny?" Adrían asked her. She nodded and he blinked at her, "wow, my brother and one of my best friends, I didn't see that coming but I'm glad he needs a good girl in his life." Adrian said causing Emaza to smile. "I'm going with Ángel. He asked me." Sydney blushed alittle. "I'm going with this guy in my physics class." Amara said. "Wes and I are going together, we don't have dates so it's better than going alone." Tyler said patting Wes back as Wes nodded in agreement. "I guess we could go together." Adrian said to me causing me to raise an eyebrow, everyone at the table stared at him weirdly. "Dude, you know oscar and Saiyr are boning right? He'll beat your ass." Syd said, my eyes and everyone else's went wide except Cesar's "I'm sorry what?!" Monse said. I made face st Sydney, "well thanks big mouth, For telling everyone." I said. "Sorry." She murmured. "It's fine." I shook my Head with a small smile. It didn't really bother me that they knew. "Wait! YOU GUYS ARE BONING?!" Ashley said. I nodded as my face turned red alittle, "I did not need to know that my prima and Cesar's brother are having sex." Ruby cringed and I playfully rolled my eyes.

"I know her and Oscar have a thing going on guys, I was asking if she just wanted to go as friends. Geez." Adrian said, I smiled. "I would love to go with you adri." I said and he nodded with a smile. "Well that leaves me, Cameron and ruby." Ashley pouted. "I don't have time for a date, I'm gonna be helping the student council plan the dance." Ruby said. "So that just leaves you and cam." "What about you cam? Got a date?" Wes asked. Cameron didn't respond he was too busy with his Back turn staring at something or maybe someone. "Cameron!" Amara yelled, Cameron jumped and quickly turned to us. "I'm sorry what?" He said. "We were asking if you had a date to the dance." I said as I cocked an eyebrow at him. "Oh, uh, no." He smiled awkwardly as he fidgeted with his fingers. "What's going on with you man? You've been acting weird lately." Tyler said. Cam shook his head, "It's nothing. Just got a lot on my mind, is all." He said.

School was over and I was at my locker grabbing my books and folders that had my homework stuffing them into my backpack. That's until I noticed cameron, standing by the stairs. He looked like he was waiting for someone, I slammed my locker shut and threw my backpack over my shoulders and began walking over to him. "Hey cameron." I said, he jumped as he quickly stuffed his phone into his pocket, quickly turning to me. "Oh, uh, hey Saiyr." He coughed awkwardly and I knitted my eyebrows together in confusion. Something is definitely going on with him. "You alright cam?" He nodded, "I'm great." He smiled awkwardly. I frowned, "Your not. What's going with you?" He sighed as his eyes started to water. I immediately pulled him in for a hug, "cam what's going on?" "It's some things you and the rest don't know about me, I've been keeping it a secret for a long time and I want to tell you guys, it's just- I- I don't know how to tell you guys." He sniffled. "Just tell us, whatever it is. We'll understand." He laughed bitterly, "You guys wouldn't understand, it's not easy saying it." He sighed as he took a seat on the stairs and I followed suit. "If I told you guys, will you guys even look at me the same?" He sniffled. What was going on? He was scaring me. "Of course we will. Nothing you could do or say to us, Will make us look at you differently." I assured him and he nodded. My phone buzzed and I looked down at it to see it was a text from Oscar saying He Was up front waiting on me. "Look, i gotta go, but if you need to talk just call me okay?" I smiled softly at him and he nodded. I kissed his head before jogging down the stairs.

"Hey." I smiled as I approached Oscars car, Oscar smiled back, "Hey." I slipped into the passenger seat shutting the door behind me. "Hey bubba." I smiled at nas who was sitting in the back, my car was still in the shop so Oscar offered to take me and nas to and from school. "Hey sai. Look! Oscar got me chicken nuggets!" He smiled as he lifted up a McDonald's bag. i chuckled, "wow, that's great." I said looking over at Oscar who simply smiled. "I got you food to and your favorite, strawberry and banana smoothie." He lifted the bag and handed it to me. "Awe!" I coo'd. "Thank you." I smiled. I dug my hand into the bag and began eating my fries as Oscar started the car and drove off. "You want a bite?" I asked Oscar, sticking my burger in front of his nose. Oscar took a large chunk out of it, "Hey! I said did you want a bite not the whole thing." I frowned at him, Oscar and nas started to laugh. "It's not funny." I pouted. "It kinda was." Oscar said and I rolled my eyes. "Oh, come on, I can get you all the food in the world bebesita." When he said that my eyes immediately lit up. "Okay, I forgive you." "I knew you would, you love food with your greedy ass." I smacked the back of his head. "Ow!" Oscar yelled. "Don't curse infront of him!" I said pointing to nas. "My bad!" Oscar rolled his eyes. Nas giggled, "you guys fight like your wife and husband." He said, I watched as Oscars lips slowly curled into a smile. "And what does that make you? The baby?" Oscar asked him. "Of course it does, I get all the love." Nas smiled warmly. "What if i want all the love." Oscar teased but nas didn't find it amusing or funny. "Only I get the love." He deadpanned causing me to laugh. "As You wish papito." Oscar replied causing nas to smile again.

Oscar pulled up in-front of our house, I turned to him, "Talk to you later?" Oscar asked. "Of course." I smiled as I pecked his cheeks. "Ew, cooties!" Nas yelled. "Now you need the cootie shot, O!" "Oh no! I'll go to the doctor right now." Oscar replied. "FaceTime me okay? So That i know you're okay." Nas said and Oscar nodded with a smile, "of course papito." I stepped out of the car and pulled the seat back so Nas could get out. "Bye O! I would hug you but I don't want the cooties." Nas cringed And Oscar and I laughed. "Bye Oscar." I said. "Bye Saiyr." He smiled, Nas and I walked up to the walkway, I grabbed my keys and unlock the door, allowing Nas in first before walking inside, shutting the door behind me. I noticed my mom sitting on the couch with her head in her hands, I frowned at the sight of her, "mama what's wrong?" I said rushing to her. She slowly looked up at me, "I found my birth parents."
