"This party is amazing rubes." I smiled as I put my chin onto Ruby's shoulder, wrapping both my arms around his neck. I stared at all the blue and pink decorations in tía geny's backyard, the party was amazing, it was really cool how ruby did all of this. I didn't know he was such a good party planner. "Thanks for planning this for Oscar." "Anything for you prima,plus Oscar has been hella nice lately because of you." Ruby said and i smiled. Everyone was here, my mom, Tia geny, tío Ruben, abuelita, Luis and Luisa, Nasir, cesar,Monse,jamal, Olivia, Sydney, Adrían, cam, Wes, Tyler, Emaza, Amara, los santos, some of Selena's friends and her family. Oscar looked happy as ever, I'm really glad he's happy. I knew he would be excited to be having a baby even if it wasn't with who he wanted it to be with, he still should be happy, having a baby is a blessing.

"Are you okay? You know Oscars having a baby now and-" "why does everyone keep asking me if I'm okay?" I chuckled slightly. Ruby pursed his lips, "I mean, everyone knows how you have a crush on Oscar." He said and I raised an eyebrow. "I do not have a crush on Oscar." I said. That's definitely a lie. I do but I was tired of people asking me if I was okay about Oscar having a baby with someone else. Of course I wasn't okay with that. I want Oscar but he has other things to focus on, so I was just gonna keep my little feelings to myself. Ruby deadpanned, "I call bullshit, I see the way you look at him and I see the way he looks at you." My heart leaped hearing that. Oscar looks at me the way I look at him? I shook the thought away. "he does not look at me that way." I said and ruby rolled his eyes. "Okay whatever you say." "Anyway, you team girl or boy?" Ruby asked me. "Ughhh i can't decide, why can't she have twins so I can pick a boy and a girl." I whined. "Maybe you'll be the one with twins." Ruby joked and I glared at him, "that's not funny. I'm not having babies anytime soon." I said as ruby laughed his little butt off. I grabbed the pink ribbon pin that said "Team girl" and pinned it to my shirt. "Now will you excuse me I'm gonna go eat that vanilla cupcake with the pink icing that I've had my eyes on since I walked in." I said and ruby chuckled with a nod. I made my way over to the table filled with food and grabbed the cupcake, peeling the wrapper off of it and took a bite out of it. "Having fun?" A voice said behind me, I turned around coming face to face with Oscar. "I'm having a blast." I smiled smugly as I chewed on the cupcake In my mouth, he chuckled. "You have a little something right there." I watched as Oscar used his right thumb to wipe some pink icing off my cheek. I blushed, "thank you." I replied, he nodded. Then his eyes trailed to my shirt and he smiled. "Team girl?" He said. "What makes you think it's a girl?" I looked down at the blue pin on his flannel. "What makes you think it's a boy?" I retort. He smiled, "I don't know, I just hope it's a boy and not a girl." He said and I raised my eyebrows.  "Why not?" "Because if some fool even looks at mi little princess the wrong way I'm a bust a cap in his ass, and don't get me started on when she gets older and is 'developed'."  "I'm killing motherfuckers left and right." I snorted and shook my head. I found it adorable how Oscar was over protective over his little girl that might not even be a girl.

"Hey, Ruby's getting ready to do the reveal, you coming?" Selena said as she approached us. My eyes fell on her stomach, she was showing already.  She looked over at me and gave me a small smile and I did the same. Things were a little awkward between us since our last encounter but if she was gonna be around Oscar a lot, since she's his baby momma I thought we could make amends, since I'm Oscars bestfriend and I was gonna be around him a lot to. "Yeah come on." Oscar said. "Uhh Selena can we talk?" I said before Oscar could drag her away. Oscar looked between us, nervously. He probably thought we were gonna get into it again. "Uhh sure." She said, she looked over at Oscar and nodded as a way of telling him to go ahead. "I just thought that we could make amends, since you know we're gonna be around eachother a lot considering your the mother of Oscars child and I'm his bestfriend," "plus our little fight was just miscommunication, also I'm sorry for calling you a hoe." I said. I honestly didn't know what to say, this whole thing was awkward for me. "We're cool." She said and I smiled softly. "I just want you to know though that oscar is mine. we're getting back together, so that means you'll never have a chance. Got it?" She smiled before walking away and I scrunched my face, before chuckling softly. "Whatever you say...whore." I muttered. Those words kept ringing in my head "We're getting back together." It hurt, I tried to act like it didn't but it did. I still had feelings for him.

I walked beside Cesar and he stared at me and frowned. "You okay, compa?" He said, I gave him a weak smile. "I'm fine." I said as I tried to keep my voice from cracking. He stared at me for while then he nodded. Wrapping an arm around me. "5..4..3..2..1!" Everyone yelled as Oscar and Selena popped off the smoke bomb cannons, the smoke was blue. Everyone screamed and jumped up and down, surrounding them both. Oscars eyes were lit up like a Christmas tree, I never seen him so happy. I smiled, as he stared at me with a smile. I'm happy he's happy and that's all that matters to me.

I know I said I wouldn't be updating as much but I'm sitting in my hotel room with nothing to do so I was like shit..let me write a chapter while I got the free time soo here y'all go. 😊

I lowkey be forgetting that Olivia is in this book sometimes💀💀💀
