*you can tell this chapter was rushed, im sorry. I just wanna get this over with. Sorry it's short.

"Tell me what?" Sonic had to ask again, Tails had his eyes glued to his shoes after his slip up. He really was bad at keeping secrets. The blue boy walked up to his silent fox son asking the question again, louder this time. "Tails, what're you talking about?"

"Did Shadow slip up and tell you he was gay for you?" Tails laughed, the sentence made Sonic's blood rise to his cheeks. Looking at him answered Tails's question. "Oh my god, he did."

"Uh yeah he told me some things..." Sonic said. "But he deleted the message afterwards so maybe it was a mistake?"

"But Cream told me that Shadow told her that he was gay because of you, dad." Tails said eating the rest of his waffle causally. "I don't think it's a mistake."

"I wish it was a mistake." Sonic muttered.

"Why are you so dramatic over this anyway, If Shadow likes you so what?" Tails asked. "Are you homophobic dad?"

"What, no! Of course not it's ju-"

Tails gasped after rewinding the whole situation in his head over and over until the only logical explanation came to mind, it all made sense. "You're in denial!" He yelled pointing at him.

"Me? In denial Tails i-"

"You're scared to admit your feelings for Shadow, huh? You're scared because this whole religion thing has got all over your head. Dad just accept that your gay, Shadow is perfect for you i don't think I've seen you happy since." After saying this, Tails goes up to his dad and hugs him to show that it was alright. "I'll be here to support you, who cares what other's think."

Sonic pushed him away and folded his arms. "I'm not gay Tails, what do you know about love anyways you're still a kid."

"I don't know anything about it dad but no offense, it's not like you know any better about it."

"What're you trying to say?"

"Remember Mom? Yeah, that was a bad choice."

"Don't bring her into this." Sonic said sternly, just the thought of her made him feel so many things, mainly hurt. "I was just a dumb kid in love, i didn't know what i was doing it's all in the past but I've found the answer in god."

"I feel like you've been brainwashed to say that." Tails said dissapointed. "I'm gonna go change now, for church." He sighed and walked upstairs to his room, Sonic jumped at the noise of the door slammed in anger.

He followed in Tails's footsteps and walked to the bathroom taking his shoes and gloves off and taking a shower. No matter how many times he scrubbed himself with the soap, he still felt some kind of filth on him he could not remove. Although it was annoying, Sonic hated himself for admitting it but: what ever this filth was, he craved it and sort of liked it.

The filth of having feelings for another man.
