"Okay, all done" said Hope as she bandaged up the scratch that dragged across the Salvatore's ribs.

"Thank you, Dr. Mikaelson" the green eyed girl said with a grin causing the Mikaelson girl to roll her eyes.

The two stood there for a moment, close in proximity.

Valencia was sat on the counter with Hope stood in between her legs facing her. Hope moved closer to the Salvatore girl, putting her hands on both sides of her on the counter. All of a sudden, a knock was heard at the door separating the two.

"Hope, it's Josie...I need your help"

Hope cleared her throat and said "Yeah, come in"

Josie walked into the room with a frantic composure, not noticing the Salvatore girl's presence.

"Sorry, I know it's late and we don't really talk but you're the only person I think would be willing to help me do illicit magic. I'm worried about Valencia Salvatore. The wolves were planning on getting revenge on her at that party in the woods and I warned her stubborn ass to look out—which I know wouldn't have stopped her from doing anything but still—I haven't seen her since the beginning of the party—which was hours ago by the way—and I need your help doing a locator spell," she ended breathlessly.

Hope just looked at her for a moment about to respond until a voice from the side of the room spoke up cutting her off saying, "Wow, Joz. I'm flattered that you'd perform banned magic for me but isn't that a little extreme?"

Josie jumped in surprise from the voice before running to the girl to give her a tight hug that quickly ended so she could hit the girl in the shoulder. This made the green-eyed girl wince.

"You scared the crap out of me! I told you to be safe and keep away from the wolves and then you full on dissapear and—oh my god what happened to your ribs?!"

At this point, Hope was sat on her bed and silently laughed at the exchange. Valencia noticed and glared at the girl before turning to Josie with a smirk, responding, "I just tripped and scraped myself on a tree, no need to worry, Saltzman"

Josie looked at her skeptically before pulling off the bandage making the Salvatore girl wince and curse under her breath.

"Well, did this tree have claws? I don't even know why you try and lie to me anymore, Cia" Josie said looking at the girl with mixed emotions.

Valencia looked at the girl sighing before looking away.

At that, Josie turned to Hope and said, "So, do you want to tell me what really happened?"

Hope looked at Josie and then to Valencia

"It's not really my story to tell"

Josie then looked back to Valencia and waited for her to say something.

Valencia finally looked up at the two with an empty expression and told Josie what she told Hope. Josie stood there expressionless.

Valencia knew that her reputation at the school was laced with the words 'Seductive, Badass, and Manipulative'. She would never deny that she was the 'bitch that always got her way' no matter what it took. She spent a lot of her time manipulating people into doing her dirty work. Tonight was the most vulnerable she had been in a long time. She had no control over the situation and she hated it. It was because of this, that her impulses took over her next few moves.

After collecting her thoughts, Josie finally looked up with a soft expression and said, "Valencia, I don't think you're a monster".

This made the Salvatore stand up intimidatingly and say "That's your mistake, Saltzman. I have no control over what I do when I'm angry. I might have killed someone tonight. Killed. What makes you think I won't do the same to someone else?"
