The Lockwood Memorial Ball (Pt. 2)

Sitting in one of the lounges of the Lockwood Mansion, Kol Mikaelson, Davina Claire-Mikaelson, and Jacob Gilbert were having a surprisingly good conversation.

They entertained multiple topics ranging from stories about Kol and Davina's travels to the multiple stunts Jacob pulled at the Salvatore School.

The couple laughed at a particular story of a prank that the young Gilbert boy had told them. Let's just say, it ended with Lizzie Saltzman's eyebrows gone for a week.

Kol smiled wholeheartedly at the Gilbert boy as he said, "If your family didn't have their name on that school, you'd likely have been kicked out by now, mate"

Jacob lifted up his drink in agreement as he chuckled and said, "That's probably true"

With her award winning smile, Davina looked at Kol with a teasing smile, saying, "Hmmm, reminds me of someone."

This prompted Kol to poke at her sides making her squirm and emit a laugh. The two lovebirds shared a tenderness that brought a smile to Jacob's face as he watched.

Off in the distance, Jeremy Gilbert looked over his son with concern.

Given the fact that Jeremy killed Kol once or twice, there wasn't much trust between the two.

Jeremy wasn't sure whether to believe the stories behind Kol being a changed man. Every memory he had of the Original was laced with his psychotic smirk. After some deliberation, the Gilbert father mustered up the courage to walk up to the three of them, gaining Kol's attention.
