Being dragged into the dark room, Valencia couldn't see a thing.

It was silent until the young Salvatore felt a hard slap across her face.

"Okay, What the hell?"

-Earlier That Day-

Hope knew the Salvatore girl had trouble with her emotions—especially when it came to properly expressing them. When Hope's blue eyes finally met Valencia's red ones, she was overwhelmed by the multitude of emotion they held. She looked broken, angry, confused, and lost all at the same time.

All Hope had done was take off her ring—at least, that's all she'd thought she did. Judging by her reaction, there was clearly more to the story that she needed to figure out. At the moment, all she cared about was making sure Valencia calmed down.

She got the girl's attention by rubbing her thumb against the side of Valencia's face and said, "Do you want to explain what just happened right now or are we going to sit in silence until you cool off and your eyes change back to that pretty green color?"

Hope had regretted those words as soon as they left her mouth. She didn't know why she was being so affectionate with the girl. It was almost out of her control.

Valencia's next moves were expected but still heavily affected the Mikaelson girl.

"I need to go."

With that, Hope Mikaelson was left in the woods with nothing but her thoughts and emotions to occupy her. Of course, she didn't let that happen for too long by deciding to channel it all into finding out what the big deal was about that ring. She knew exactly where to go.

Knocking on the door, Hope anxiously fiddled with her 'M' crested necklace

Knocking on the door, Hope anxiously fiddled with her 'M' crested necklace. She then heard some commotion coming from inside the home.

"You can come in, Ric. I'm by the fireplace."

Hope cleared her throat, "Actually, it's Hope Mikaelson."

Suddenly, the Mikaelson girl felt a gust of wind air past her.

"Baby Klaus," the person said behind her, smiling.

"Damon," Hope said turning to face the voice, unimpressed.

"What brings you to the, second, Salvatore Estate?"

"It's a long story," Hope said seriously.

Damon sensed the climate of the conversation and immediately changed his composure.

"Why don't you come inside, Hope...let's have a little chat."

The two walked into the house and sat themselves in, what Hope assumed to be, the living room—it was hard to tell with the overwhelming amount of rooms.

When the two got comfortable, a voice was heard from upstairs saying, "Damon, who was at the door?"

Damon smiled at the sound of the voice.
