The middle-aged clerk smiles as she sees me enter the pharmacy. I gave back a smile as I closed the glass door and walked to the counter.
"Still here for the same thing, young man?" She raised a brow as she smiled at me warmly.
I nodded and she left to get what I needed.
"We were out of stock for these today, but luckily I kept some for you." She slid the plastic on the counter and I gladly received it.
"Thank you for your help. I'm off!" I saw her wave goodbye at me as I left the pharmacy.
I took a small stop to the flower shop to buy some flowers.
"Same old thing, son?" I grinned and nodded at the old man who passed on to me the flowers I wanted.
"Baby's-breath. Got them just the way you wanted them to be. Cut and tied with a white bow to finish it off." He smiled proudly.
I bowed and thanked him before I strolled off in my bike.
I arrived at my house and breathed out as I got out of breath pedalling towards home.
"Jagiya! I'm home!" My voice sounded around the whole house as I left my shoes by the door. I placed the flowers on the coffee table.
"Namjoon? Is that you?" I walked to the kitchen and peeked by the wall to see my wife cooking.
"Yah, I told you not to step in the kichen. You'll hurt yourself." I turned the stove off and pulled her to the living room as I gave her a kiss on the forehead.
She looked up at me as her face twisted in pure confusion. "When did I step into the kitchen?"
I chuckled, "Nevermind. Let's eat. I bought your medicine and favorite flowers earlier."
She smiled and gently pulled a chair and sat by the table as she propped her elbows on the table and sighed.
I glanced at her, "Everything going well?"
She snapped back to reality and looked at me, nodding. "Its just... you weren't by my side when I woke up awhile ago."
I smiled at her gently, "That happens every morning already." I told her. But I knew she wouldn't remember those anymore.
My wife, (y/n), has the Alzheimer's disease. She's currently in the moderate stage, which meant she needs more attention and care this time. She tends to forget more things easily, too.
My heart always aches everytime her face looked confused when I tell her memories that I know she wouldn't even remember.
You'd think I'm pretty much hating her or annoyed at her when those things happen, but I purely understand her and I still love her just the way she is.
It just hurts to know that she has forgotten all those memories both of us used to share.
"Jagiya, are you okay? You're crying!" I felt her warm, smooth and shaky hand wipe away the tears that fell down my cheeks.
I held her trembling hand that rested on my cheeks as I smiled lovingly at her.
"Saranghae.."
She laughed lightly, "What's up with you? First you're crying and now you're suddenly blurting things out of the blue."
I let out a small laugh, "It just felt right to say it." She smiled back at me, "Nado..."
I put her hand down and snapped my fingers, "Let's eat! You must be hungry already!"
She nodded and stood up, heading to the kitchen.
I followed her and saw her grabbing plates, "Yah, I'll do those stuff. Sit down and wait, okay?"
