"Promise you'll come back?" I raised my pinky finger at him as I waited for his to lock with mine.
His lips shaped into a smile and nodded, locking his pinky finger with mine. I smiled widely and looked at him.
I hugged him one last time, my arms wrapped around him tightly. He hugged me back, planting a kiss on my forehead.
"Saranghae.... I'll be back. Wait for me, okay?" He pulled up the handle of his luggage.
"Nado! I will! Don't forget to keep in touch with me!" I was on the verge of tears as I waved at him, our distance getting farther each second.
I see him wave and then he turned around, walking to the waiting area in the airport.
I walked out and sat on the bench as I held back my tears.
Eventually, a white sports car stopped in front of me. The window at the passenger's seat opened, and I saw my best friend by the steering wheel.
"Was I too late?" He peeked through his Gucci shades as he spoke.
I walked towards the car and opened the door. "Very late. What took you so long this time?" I glanced at him as I sat down.
"Yeontan chewed on my shoes again." He heaved an annoyed sigh. I laughed, "But I know you still love him more than those expensive shoes."
He nodded, "Yeontan is priceless," He glanced at me. "And so are you."
My brow rose. "Why the heck are you so cliche today?"
He shrugged. He drove me towards his dorm and I was greeted by Jimin, my brother. "Yah, Park (y/n)! Who told you you're allowed to step inside my home?"
"You're not the only one who lives here, pabo." Namjoon-hyung came out of the kitchen and flicked my brother's forehead.
"I'm sorry we weren't able to say our goodbyes to your boyfriend. Jin told us we didn't have to come to the airport." He said.
I smiled, "Its okay."
"(Y/n)-noona! You're here!" I heard the footsteps coming by the stairs then a bunny jumped on me.
"Jungkook, did you eat something weird today?" I laughed as he pulled me back up.
"I missed you. Its been a while since you visited the dorm." He gave me a toothy smile which made my day better.
"Where are the others?" I looked around as I was pulled to the dining room by V.
"Hobi is still in the practice room. Sugu-hyung is doing his usual routine." Jimin sat beside me as he picked up a toasted bread.
"You mean sleeping?"
He nodded as he chewed the bread. I propped my elbows on the table and placed my head inside my arms, heaving a sigh.
"You okay?" I heard V ask. I shrugged.
"I just miss him. It feels like its been years since I've seen him already."
Jungkook sighed. "Me, too. I miss his windshield laughter and his lame dad jokes."
"But looking on the bright side, he'll only be gone for a while, right?" I looked at V who had his signature box smile on his lips.
"But four months seem like a long, looonnggg time for me."

"Noona! Jin-hyung's on WeChat!" Jungkook yelled from upstairs. Ever since Jin left, I decided to stay in the boys' dorm temporarily.
