"Min Yoongi! I've already lost count of the times you've been sleeping in my class! Is Math that boring to you?!"
I felt a hand slam on my table which caused me to shift from my sleeping position.
I looked up and saw Mrs. Jung with an angry face.
"What?" I stretched my arms up and scratched my head. "Is it dismissal time already?"
The whole class erupted in laughter as they stared at the scene unravelling before them.
"All of you, keep quiet!" She screamed at them.
The room became silent with only Mrs. Jung's heavy breathing filling the whole room.
"Young man, detention, three hours!" She yelled. I shrugged, "More sleep then."
I continued to sleep throughout the whole morning. Until lunch time.
"Yah, I brought you some cup noodles. Hurry up before it gets cold." I heard my friend, Park Jimin, say as he shook me awake.
I groaned as I rubbed my eyes sleepily. "Yah, did you buy me soda?"
He nodded with his plump lips pursed into a thin line. "Have you done the homework already?"
I shook my head slowly as I looked at him with confusion, "No..? What homework?" I slurped in my noodles.
He sighed and shook his head. "I'll be right back. Finish your food before I return."
I nodded and started to eat. Suddenly, my phone vibrated. It was a text from Namjoon, saying we should start thinking about the lyrics for our upcoming song.
: Yah, can't come later. I have detention.
Surprisingly, he replied right away.
RM: Again? Fine. Let's meet up tomorrow.
: There's no classes tomorrow.
RM: Exactly. Meet me at the studio. The others will be there, too.
I sent him a thumbs up before I turned my phone off, putting it back in my pocket.
A notebook landed beside my food. I looked at Jimin. "What's this?"
"Copy that. Hurry up since Science is right after lunch."
I slightly smiled, "Thanks. By the way, are you coming to the studio tomorrow?"
He nodded.
Both of us chatted until lunch time came to an end. Luckily, Jimin lent me his notebook to copy off his assignment, so I didn't have to do cleaning duty after class.
I walked along the hallway with a bored look on my face as I headed to detention.
I opened the door expecting that I was the only student, as usual, but this time, a girl was there.
She had her feet up on the teacher's table as she used her phone. A lollipop was inside her mouth and she would snicker from time to time as she scrolled through the screen.
I raised a brow, but it seemed like she was paying no attention to her surroundings.
I shook her off my mind and walked to the other corner of the room to sleep.
Hiding my head inside my arms, I started to doze off. But someone's voice interrupted my sleep.
"Yah, Min Yoongi."
I closed my eyes as if I didn't hear her. From the other side of the room, I could hear her sigh.
"Yah! Min. Yoongi! Are you deaf or what? Answer me!" She yelled out. I sighed, "I don't talk to strangers."
