This was it. The day of the exams. Mom saw me out and wished me luck. Toshi-kun and Tsukauchi-kun both texted me to do my best in their own ways, I was hyped.

I haven't known Tsukauchi-kun for long, but me and him became close rather quickly. It was most likely because of Toshi-kun, but it feels like his card is half its strength already.

As I walked to the entrance I couldn't help but overthink this test. I kept going through my abilities and their applications in my head.

Then I tripped on a rock.

I accepted my fate. I've come so far, with such an idiotic end. Then I stopped falling.
"Sorry for using my quirk on you!" I look to my side as the person helps me to a standing position. "I just thought it would be bad luck if you fell on the first day!" I see a brown haired, bubbly girl. I nod and smile shyly "Whats y-your name?"
"I'm Ochaco Uraraka!"
"I'm Izuku Midoriya."
"Its nice to meet you! Good luck with the exam!" She waves behind her as she goes for the entrance.

"Deku." I turn toward the voice, "Kacchan. I'm not surprised." I smile at the blond and he scowls as he passes.
"Hurry up nerd. Your gonna be late if you just stand there." I nod and follow my "Friend" into my dream school.
I flick my wrist before I walk in... I knew it. I thought I felt something when Uraraka-san helped me. Its the possibility of a bond... A ghost bond. thats new, but not surprising. My quirk is trying to guide me I guess.

I listened to Present Mic, but I couldn't help but take out my cards and go through everything. I mean, Mom's allows me to fly about and fling robots like nothing at the cost of a headache, but Toshi-Might's allows me to easily overload the robots and traverse easier at the cost of exhaustion. If used at full power both could decommission me. I don't notice that I'm mumbling until—
"And you, with the green hair and Tarot cards!" I turn and look at the person screaming, to see a blue haired, tall and angular boy pointing at me.
"If you're just here to ignore the presentation and tell fortunes while mumbling and disturbing the people around you, you should leave!" I look at him confused and slowly stand, "I'm sorry, I forgot that making strategies for the practical was worse than shouting over everything and stoping the presentation." He looks at me in shock and I sit back down, making my cards disappear.

I look at the cards in my hand as we are waiting for the practical to start. I sigh and they disappear. I look around the crowd and my eyes find Uraraka-san. She seems very nervous, if I go to help her I may have a new friend.

I start to walk over to her, but a fairly big hand grasps my shoulder. I turn towards the owner to find the shouting student from before.
"I am sorry for my previous outburst in the auditorium, but I can not let this slide. That girl is clearly trying to focus, it would be unwise to disturb her."

I smile up at the boy and he seems to falter slightly and takes a step back. "I'm sorry, I thought she looked nervous and I wanted to try and calm her down." He nods, he holds out his hand and is about to say something, but Present Mic cuts him off.

"GO!!"

I summon Mom's card and grab it, instantly flinging myself over everyone and into the mock city.
"What are you all doing!? There are no countdowns in a real fight! That green glowwy kid gets it! The die have been cast and the moments at hand, GET TO IT!!!"

I grab robots with telekineses and hit them against each other and the various surfaces in reach, a couple that I grab were about to harm some of the other examinees.

I've gotten a good 72 points, and I've decided to just chill on a roof kinda close to the entrance of this fake city. "Where did U.A. get the funding to build this big a place?" I ask myself, simply pondering the ridiculous waste of money this could potentially be. However, as I was pondering this the ground shooketh beneath me.

A couple minutes earlier, in an observation room.

"We have a promising batch of candidates this year."

"Indeed, some use smart thinking and application of quirk, others use raw speed or strength, while others opt to use their quirks to survey their surroundings first. However, I believe these two are the most promising."
Two center screens are focused in on our beloved, semi-silent, grean bean and the other on his polar opposite. Izuku is shown relaxing on a roof's edge and watching the other examinees get points, while Katsuki is shown standing on a pile of robots with smoking palms.

"They'll just have to conqure the real test, then." A red button is pushed, the ground begins to shake.
