*Ashton's POV*
Where the hell is Luke? He's been gone for nearly an hour. Surely it doesn't take an hour to drop off soup to his girlfriend... Unless he stayed with her to take care of her, in that case I've got another couple of hours to be bored out of my mind. I should have gone with Luke, just to get out of the house but I don't think I could have handled watching him be all cute with the girl he loves when I've got no one like that anymore.
I need to entertain myself before I let my thoughts cross into the dark side. I could watch a movie, or take a walk. I'll take a walk. I get my ass off the lounge and stroll around the house looking for everything I'd need; my shoes, my headphones and my keys to get back into the house later on. Heading out, I place my headphones over my head and let the sweet sounds of All Time Low's 'Jasey Rae' fill my ears.
My mind immediately starts to think of Sabrina; she loved this song. This was the song we listened to in my car on the way to our first date and I'll never forget it. We listened to this song the first time we made out, the first time we made love... It's our song. I know it's not exactly a romantic song like Faithfully by Journey but who the hell cares? This song means everything to me and I'll listen to it even though the one person who meant everything to me is no longer in my life.
About an hour later, as I'm making my way back home, Luke interrupts 'More Than a Feeling' with a phone call.
"Hello?" I answer him.
"Where are you?" He urges.
"Jesus, I went out for a walk. I didn't want to be stuck in the house whilst you loved up your girlfriend for hours so I went out to clear my head." I laugh a little and I can hear him sigh in relief. I'm not a child; hell, I'm the oldest out of the four of us for fuck's sake!
"Okay. Are you coming back?"
"Yeah, I'm walking back right now. You seem a little on edge for some reason. Everything alright, mate?"
"Yeah, it's fine- I mean, I'm fine."
"Well alright..." I say slowly, finding him a bit fishy but I don't question it further, assuming he was just worried about me and that's why he's so flustered all of a sudden. "I'll be back soon."
"Cool." With that, he hangs up and as I roll my eyes, I continue my music and walk back to our house.
"Alright, care to tell me why you went all over-protective mother on me?" I ask Luke as I walk back into the house, tossing my keys onto the table, making a loud clinking sound.
"I just got a little worried. I didn't know where you went or what you would do. Sorry I left you alone."
I shrug it off, "No worries. I was fine." That's half the truth but I never had a problem being alone before when I'd lock myself in my room but I know I'm making progress.
"Okay." He doesn't seem convinced and I almost want to roll my eyes.
"How was Lindsay?" I ask him, heading to the fridge and grabbing myself a bottle of water.
"Oh. She's sick as a dog." He shakes his head. I lean against the fridge as he stands at the cooker, boiling some water and pouring some spaghetti into a pot.
"What does she have, like a cold?"
"Yeah, her nose is all red and runny and shit." He grimaces and I nod.
"Right."
"Well, Rebecca's coming over tonight." He reminds me.
"Oh, right. We're talking tonight." I remember. "Well I feel fine so I don't think we need to have a therapy session tonight."
