Chapter 30

Dianne's POV

We now have a week until we go back, we're going into year 11, really were only in for about 6 months when you think about it we will only be in when our exams are, and the rest will just be revising for our exams, me and Joe have both sent our letters off to our chosen collages, i'm just hoping we don't drift apart,

Today we're all heading down to the beach, we're all going surfing and then Alfie is hosting a BBQ at his place as him Zoe and Alfie found a house, they moved in about 3 weeks ago,

As me and Joe were walking down to the beach, our hands intertwined,

'Come on' he whispered

We started running down to the beach, as we got there we saw Jack and AJ making out

'Oh get a room you too' I said

'We have one' Jack replied smirking

Me and Joe looked at each other and our Jaws dropped

'What?' and you didn't tell me' I spoke towards AJ

'I didn't think it was that important' he said laughing

'Oh and you telling me the insole of your 3 year old shoes is' I said back

'Okay, fine, i'm sorry' He hugged me

'Fine I forgive you' We both started laughing

'I'm surprised you too haven't yet'

'I guess we never really needed to' Said Joe,

'Yep, now AJ, you are coming for a surf before you or Jack suffocate, come on'

'There is no getting out of it is there' he asked

'Nope now come on'

I pulled him up and we ran into the water and caught a few waves, after we caught about 12 waves AJ went back to shore, I stayed in the water, As I sat on my board, I saw a group of lads, and A little girl with them, I kept my focus on them, I saw them push the little girl, she looked about the age of 7 or 8, I kept my focus on them, suddenly AJ was next to me

'What you looking at?'

'You see them there, they have just pushed that little girl, but I feel as though I have see one of the lads before and that little girl, I want you, Jack, Joe to keep focus on them, i'll stay here I don't like what's going on, I feel as though something is going to happen'

'Okay, i'll tell the guys'

AJ swam back to shore, I paddled out a bot further as a wave soon would be there, As I looked over, I saw them push the little girl again, towards the water, she looked down right terrified, she paddled in I saw the wave coming in, We both caught the wave, she was talented but suddenly, she went under, after 5 seconds she didn't come up, I dived in, I opened my eyes and saw her, I pulled her up over the wave, I put her head on my shoulder, as soon as the water was calm, I spoke

'Are you okay hun?'

'Yes' she said as she looked at me

'Phoebe?'

'Dianne?'

'Phoebe, who are you supposed be with'

'My brother, Max and his mates'

As I looked over I saw Max, the same Max who bullied Chloe

'Phoebe, i'll take you home later but I want you to stay with me and my friends for now, I don't want you getting hurt'

'Thankyou Dianne'

'Come on'

We walked back to shore, I placed her board on mine and lay them on the sand, I placed her down on the towel

Jack- what happened

Dianne- Max happened

AJ- the max

Dianne- yes the same Max who bullied Chloe

Phoebe- he's always been a bully, he doesn't care about anyone

Joe- Really? not even you

Phoebe- never has, never will, he acts it at home but as soon as he is out of mum or dad's sight or hearing, he'll push me, he goes back to being, well.... Max

Joe started getting up, but I pushed him back down

Dianne- i'll deal with them later, okay, I want to see how they act when Phoebe doesn't come back

Joe- okay

I looked over and saw they were all pratting about, I saw Josh and Chloe walking down, then heard Max shout

'Oh look at the slag'

Josh started Marching down towards them, I shot up and ran, towards them

Dianne- Josh, take Chloe over to the guys, i'll deal with these lot

Josh- come on babe, he said to Chloe

As soon as Josh walked off, I saw Max stand up

'What you gonna do Bitch' he said whilst standing against the wall

'Well i'm hear to tell you something'

I hit his leg so they were both on the ground, and grabbed his wrists so he couldn't attack me

'Now this is what i'm gonna tell you okay, and your gonna listen because I don't want to repeat myself twice, so I say you listen up, you have been nothing but a bully, I just saved your sister's life, If I wasn't there your sister could have ended up dead, as she went under and didn't come up, As you was in charge of looking after her you could have been done for attempted murder, and you would have ended up behind bars, and like I told you the first time it will be me and my mates as much as the police you would have to answer to, so I suggest you cut the act before it is too late, now this is the part where your really gonna want to listen, in the end, YOUR gonna be the one on the floor and  i'm gonna be the one who walks away, no I get it you could just beat me up if you wanted to but the thing is I have both of your wrists and you can't move, you also know you hurt me you'll be hurt 10 times as bad so I say you cut. the. act. right. now. Today you could have lost your sister, and you wouldn't have even batted an eyelid, so either you change your act or you end up somewhere where you don't want to be, now I will take you sister home but if I ever see that child upset or hurt through you or any of your mates, believe me a threat will be the least of your problems, now i'm gonna let go of your wrists and walk away, because I believe you know I meant what I just said'

I slowly let go of his wrists

'Now, just think about what I said, and once you have done that, I think your mother, father, Chloe, your sister and Josh all deserve an apology so they'll be waiting'

I walked away, back to Phoebe and the group

Phoebe ran over and hugged me

'Thankyou Di, no-one has been brave enough to do that and by the look on his face he won't be the old Max for much longer'

'It's okay, but if your ever hurt, I want you to come to this address or call this phone number okay'

'I will, thankyou Dianne'

'It's okay Phoebe'

*Time Skip*

I had just took Phoebe back to her mum and dad and explained everything that happened down at the beach, from Phoebe getting pushed to me giving Max a warning, they simply thanked me and with that I walked back to the beach, As I approached the beach, i walked over to Joe and me and him walked along the beach, until the sun fell
