Today is the first day of year 11, As was stood downstairs, scrolling through my phone, I see Dianne come downstairs, for the past 2 days she has been stressing about her exams and revision and everything, She had about 4 folders in her arms, paper everywhere and a pen just behind her ear
'Joe, I- I don't know what I'm gonna do, its year 11, our first exam is in 2 months' she said all in one breathe
I took the papers and folders out of her arms and placed them on the side, and then took her hands
'Di, listen just relax okay, and before you say anything, it's okay, okay, I know it is year 11 and all you have done is prepare for an exam that is in 2 months as though it is tomorrow'
But, she tried to say
'Di, just take a breathe'
She took in a deep breathe and out again
'Now put the things ion your bag and then we can go and meet Amy and Ben
She put all the things into her bag

When Joe calmed me down we set out for school, as we got there I saw Amy stood frozen on the spot looking at the school
'You okay A?'
'It's gonna be hard knowing my grandma isn't here'
'It's okay A, I was the same when my aunt passed away, now we'll all get you through this okay, now come on'
'Okay'
We both walked in to school and soon enough it was time for first lesson, As we went to first lesson, me and Joe had English,
Me Joe and Oli all sat down,
Suddenly the principle came in
'Now I am here to tell you, all your lesson as you did your exams for your options last year, you only have English, Math and Science, and all your lessons will mainly be revision, and when your not revising you'll be doing your exams, now we expect that you will but in 10x the effort now as you have done previously, and thankyou for letting me tell you this, and Dianne can I please talk to you for a moment'
I nodded and stood outside, As he came out, he simply said 'Follow me'
I followed him and we headed down to the meeting room near the dance studio, as I walked in I saw Tracey sat down at a desk with my Dance teacher
'Have a seat Dianne'
I sat down Next to Tracey,
'Now Dianne we have called you down here as we want to ask you something, Now it is nothing to be worried about, but we have an offer to give to you'
'Okay, but what's going on?'
' Now, your dancing, it is amazing, now after Collage, we want you to become a dancer, here.'
'Here, you mean the school here'
'Yes, we want you to take up a teaching role here, however if you want to take the offer, we want you to go and take a full course at Collage with your dancing'
'Okay, and why are you asking me?'
'Well, you have been one of our top students since you started here, but when you come here, you will actually be having your own building, and ballroom, now you and Mr Pritchard will be teaching, he has already accepted the offer, and we're hoping you will too'
'Erm, can I just have a moment'
'Sure, we'll be waiting in here'
'I need to speak to Joe'
'Okay'
As I step outside, I walk around the corner I take a breath, it is an amazing offer, I will have my own studio, I will be where I have always wanted to be, a ballroom and Latin teacher, but I don't know why I am worried, As I walk to the English department, I knock on the door
The teacher simply just nods and smiles
'Joe, you may be excused'
Me and Joe walk outside together and sit on the bench
'Hey, what's wrong?' he askes
I tell him everything what they had told me
'That's amazing, why are we not smiling?'
'I..I don't know, it's an amazing offer, and I would be where I always have wanted to be, but I don't know what's stopping me'
'What's the feeling that is stopping you?'
'Fear.. Maybe?'
'Come with me'
He takes me to the door where everyone was in
'Your going in their and accepting it, Di this is your dream and always has been, you'll regret it if you don't'
'Are you sure?'
'Positive'
Joe opens the door and I sit down
'Now Ms Buswell, have you made up your mind?'
'Yes, I will accept your offer, thankyou'
'Well, we'll be happy to have you here and teaching'
I shook their hand and walked out,
'Now get back in lesson you two, you need as much knowledge as you can get packed into that brain of yours, go' Tracey said
