Chapter 25

Zoe's POV

Today me, Alf and Emma are meeting Joe and Dianne down by the beach, as I was pushing Emma in the pram, Alfie was carrying her bag, As we walked down the pathway, I looked down to the other end of the beach, I saw Joe chasing Dianne and he caught her and picked her up slightly over his shoulder,

'They are so in love, aren't they?' I hear Alfie say beside me

'I have never seen Joe so happy, Dianne is the best thing that has ever happened to Joe' I say watching them mess about in the water

'Come on, lets go and sit down on the sand, introduce Emma to it'

'Okay, grab the bottom of the pram will you Alf?'

He walked down a few steps and then held on the bottom of the pram, we walked over the beach slightly until we were in eye's view of the guys and we set everything up, we took Emma out of her pram and applied a lot of sun cream so she wouldn't burn only being a newly 4 month old, we set up the parasol so we had shade, as we were sat down I sat Emma up, I slowly let go slightly my hands still there to catch her if she fell, but she didn't

'Omg, Alf look she's holding herself up, omg'

'Awwww, I'm so proud, your doing it Emma'

We saw Joe and Dianne come over

'Joe, Joe, Joe'

'Hey stop hitting my arm, what?'

'Joe look, Emma she's holding herself up'

'Omg, well done Em' Joe said

'Aww i'm so proud'

'You should be Zo, she's so clever, especially for a 4 moth old' Dianne complemented

*Time Skip*

Dianne's POV

As we were sat down on the beach I looked at the date it was the 4 year anniversary of my Aunts death

'Hey, i'll be back in about half and hour' I said standing up

'Do you want me to come with you?' Joe asked

'No it's okay, you stay here with these lot, i'll see you soon'

I kissed him

'Love you'

'Love you too'

I set off for my walk to the grave, as I got to the field of flowers I picked a bunch and walked to her grave

'Hey, I hope your okay, I can't believe it has been 4 years already, it feels like a life time, oh erm, Zoe had her baby, I used what you taught me to help'

'I saw Di, it was amazing'

'I wish you were still here to meet everyone, you'd love Joe, he's just....the best, I love him for that, I love you, I miss you'

'I love you too Di, i'm always here when you need me, I love you Di'

'I...I love you too'

I brushed my hand over her grave and walked back to the group on the beach when I got there I saw Zoe holding Emma's hands and she hobbled walking whilst Alfie filmed them in the water, they were just the perfect family,

'Hey, you okay?'

'Yea, i'm fine'

'Come on, follow me'

We walked up the pathway, and we stopped by the gazebo

'It's crazy to think a year ago to this day we almost Died, oh that reminds me I need to give you something'

'I need to give you something aswell'

We both handed each other a card with a small box on top

'Happy 1 year anniversary' we both said

As I opened the box I saw a small necklace with a symbol on it, it was beautiful

He opened his, I got him a cap with sugg wrote on the front of it

'Thank you' we both said at the same time, we kissed each other, I put on the necklace on and he popped the cap on his head

'I love it' I said examining the necklace

'I'm glad'

'Now, does the cap fit your head?'

'Perfectly'

'Good'

We stood there watching the sun set,

'I love you Di'

'I love you too Joe'
