"I can't believe you didn't tell me," Simon said.

I sighed, "To be fair I never told anyone. It's just someone just found out even though it wasn't there business."

"Your business is my business," Charlie smiled. She took a seat right beside me in the booth. Simon, Rowan, Charlie, Elijah, Lucas and I were at the diner. I told Simon I had something I needed to tell him and he said to invite everyone to the dinner. So I did. Maya, Leo, and Lewis weren't here yet though. Still, I told Simon everything that happened with my mother. (Except for me trying to kill myself.)

I playfully rolled my eyes at her. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I was scared. I still am," I told him honestly. Charlie took held my hand under the table and I rested my head on her shoulder. "I am afraid that I'll see her again. It terrifies me that she's still in this town and nothing is stopping her from hurting me now." Charlie squeezed my hand to reassure me I will be fine.

"We will protect you, don't worry. She'd be crazy to try anything cause we'd kick her arse," Simon said as he pumped his fist in the air.

Rowan laughed, "No offence, Si, but you would not last in a fight. I think Emma would have to swoop in and save you."

"I could beat up bad guys! I know a lot about anatomy which means I know where to kick someone to make them feel the most pain," Simon informs her.

"You don't need to be good at anatomy to know to kick bad guys in the balls," Rowan points out.

Lucas mentions, "Or punch them in the throat, eyes, nose, and ears."

"True," Elijah and Charlie say at the same time.

Leo, Lewis, Maya and some other guy walked into the dinner and headed for our table. I recognised the random guy. He was one of the guys from the black widow gang that I threw into the lake. Of course, he wouldn't recognise me without my mask on. "Hey, guys. Sorry, we are late. This is Casper," Maya said.

"Hey, Casper, " I smiled. "How'd you two meet?"

"He was my friend in my old gang. He helped my brother figure out that our boss killed our mum," Maya informed me. "We are trying to find my old boss' secret weapon."

"Secret weapon?" I said questioningly.

Maya and Casper nodded. "My boss has a plan to destroy the world. She talks about it all the time. Right now, her secret weapon is in testing and almost ready to be used to take over this city. Then the nation and then the world," Casper said. Rowan looked at him oddly. Maybe she knows him and didn't realise he was the gang?

"And how are you going to stop her?" She asked. Casper glanced at Rowan worriedly. They did know each other but how?

He took a deep breath before speaking, "We are going to find the weapon and destroy it."

"She has highly trained assassins who most likely could kick your arse," she informed him. I looked at her. How did she know? I mean they are a prominent gang but she seems to know more.

"I can kick their arses," Maya states.

"As can I," Leo adds.

I asked Casper, "How is she planning to take over the world? If the people rise up, it'd be nearly impossible for her to stay in power."

"When she takes control, she is going to ask people to join her gang but make it seem like they have a choice. Afterwards, anyone who isn't in her gang will be visited by a gang member and will be asked to join once more. If they say no this time, the assassin will kill them. Therefore, everyone who is still alive will obey her," he responded.
