Rye

My stomach hurt from laughing. I couldn't remember the last time I'd laughed that much. But Andy's facial expression just had been too good, not to laugh about it. I hadn't planned to scare him. I just had wanted to tell him that I had been ready to take some guitar lessons.
I left the room and nearly fell down the stairs, because I was still giggling.

"SHUT UP, RYE!!!", shouted Andy from downstairs.

I couldn't help myself and I burst into laughter again. I was laughing til I had to sit down the stairs and tears were running down my face. Due to all the noise Andy and I had made, Jack opened his door and peeked into the corridor.

"Guys, seriously what's wrong with you? I was still sleeping.", he complained whilst rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He looked so much younger than he actually was. "S-, Sorry! ", I said, still laughing. I stood up, holding onto the handrail to protect me from falling down the stairs. While I was stumbling down the stairs, I heard Jack slamming the door.

When I arrived downstairs Andy was sitting in the kitchen, waiting for me and he still looked pissed. But I found out pretty soon, that I wasn't the cause for his mood anymore.

Brooklyn and Mikey had managed to come back inside and had started an absolute mess in the kitchen. My mood completely changed as I nearly slipped because of the flour on the kitchen floor.

"What the -".

I looked at Andy who gave me a pissed off look and pointed silently to Brook, who was covered in flour from head to toe. "I wanted to make pancakes!", excused Brooklyn himself, giving me an innocent puppy look. I rolled my eyes on him. "Just to get this straight: you're cleaning the kitchen after-...whatever this is.", I said to him, while I was pointing on the mess he had made. He nodded, looking guilty like a toddler, who had broken the favourite vase of its mother.

I turned back to Andy and the second I wanted to ask him if he was ready, Mikey was bursting into the room. That's when I noticed, that he hadn't been in the room when I had slidden into it.

"SHE POSTED A NEW STORY!!!", he screamed as he went down to the ground.

Unfortunately he hadn't had a hand left to hold himself on the doorframe. I felt his pain as he crashed on the floor. "AHHHHHH!!!", he started screaming. Andy hissed behind me. He must had felt his pain as well. "MY KNEEEEE!", Mikey whined.

Oh, this boy and his knee. It was a love-hate relationship.

I decided to help the poor guy. So I climbed over him, went to the freezer and grabbed some ice. After that I helped him to get up. "Come on. Let's take a seat on the couch. And Brooklyn, clean the damn floor or the next person will slip again", I spat. Together we stumbled to the couch and sat down.

Andy had turned towards us and watched us curiously. After Mikey had stopped crying and the ice had been placed onto his knee, Andy finally spoke. I had noticed that he was longing to ask Mikey and I knew exactly what he was going to ask.

"So, Mikey. She had posted something new in her story? What is it this time? Another picture of her dogs?".

He didn't sound that serious while asking and I knew that he was just teasing Mikey. I chuckled until I saw the hurt expression on Mikey's face. "No, but it doesn't matter. You don't care anyway.", he mumbled and I felt very sorry for him.

"No, tell me! What has she posted?", I said softly, giving Andy a glare. He innocently raised his hands and smirked. My heart skipped a beat. He really looked cute today. But this wasn't about Andy.

Quickly I turned back to Mikey. He grabbed his phone, went on Instagram and looked up an account. I was all too familiar with the account, because Mikey had shown it to me nearly every day for months now. One day he'd entered my room and had shown me the picture of a strawberry blonde girl. I'd remembered her from one of our tour meet and greets, but hadn't been quite sure in which city it had been.
