Michael was trying desperately to pull it off, that is, pull his immortality off of him. Michael and Calum, Luke and Ashton were living in an apartment, and had been living there for two years now. Michael and Calum in one room with the other boys in the other room across the hall. After Britzton got destroyed, they had run off to the town of Cambridge, where they had stayed, using dark magic to pay there way threw since they all didn't have parents anymore.

Michael, contempt with his immortality, now saw a problem. While Calum had turned 18, he looked 18 where as Michael still looked as though he was 16. This had become a bigger problem, in the sense that if it continued the age gap between them would soon look like Michael was Calum's younger brother, and later on, Michael would look like Calum's son.

This made both boys extremely uncomfortable, and was just enough of a push to get Michael looking threw the dark magic texts he had taken out of the library. Soon enough, Michael had found the spell. The page was old, and looked ripped in many places. This was bad, for Michael couldn't tell exactly what he was reading.

Feeling as though he got the just of it, he decided to start saying the spell, mumbling out his words. But before he could get passed the first sentence, there was a knock on the door. Michael quickly closed the book, rushing to the door and looking threw the peep hole. It was Luke and Ashton, so he decided to let them in.

Once Michael opened the door, Luke and Ashton both rushed in, looking around for something, or someone. Michael cleared his throat, realizing what they were searching for.

"Calum's in the shower" Michael spoke, Luke turned to the sudden sound of his voice. Everyone was still not all settled in from when the city burned down and all there families died. Imagine being a 16 year old and have your parents and everyone you know dead and be forced to find a new house because your old house was a pile of ashes. That would be terrible. It was terrible.

"Do you think he will be out soon? We got something to tell you guys" Ashton said, Michael nodded assuring Ashton that Calum would be out of the shower soon. Michael wondered what the news was, and gestured for Luke and Ashton to sit down. Looking around the room, Ashton spotted Michael's voodoo book on the table, Ashton pointed to it lazily.

"What were you looking for in there?" Ashton asked, looking at Michael with wonder in his eyes, everyone was so curious in this moment, any answer to any question would bring ease.

"I am trying to make this-" Michael gestured to all of his body "-look more like this" Michael now pointed to all of Ashton's body. Ashton looked a bit confused and Michael sighed.

"I'm trying to get rid of my immortality, so I can age and not be stuck at the age of 16 for the rest of my life, you saw what happened to Justin, being 16 forever messes you up" Michael explained, suddenly the sound of wet footsteps started from the hallway and over to the living room area where everyone was. Michael knew this was Calum and hoped that he was wearing a towel.

"Michael Hun, did someone knock on the door?" Calum asked as he walked into the living room with a towel wrapped around it waist, Michael mentally sighed in relief. Once Calum realized Luke and Ashton were over, He said a faint hi and sat down on the couch so close to Michael, he was almost sitting in his lap. Calum was cute, in Michael mind anyways.

"Ok, so me and Luke have big big news" Ashton said, taking Luke's hands in his own.

"Yea, we have decided to..." Luke did a pause for affect, looking at Ashton as they both smiled and said,

"Adopt a little boy!" The sentence came out happy, but Michael and Calum seemed more shocked then happy. Could Luke and Ashton actually take care of a child?

"That's great news guys!" Calum was the first to speak, but the unwanted pause after Luke and Ashton had announced there adoption news caused Ashton to speak up.

"You hesitated" he said, Michael and Calum gulped guiltily. They did hesitate.

"It's just, you guys are 18, do you really think you can raise a kid?" Calum admitted, and this encouraged Michael to also put in his two cents.

"Yeah like I can not imagine raising a kid right now" Michael said, Ashton crossed his arms and Luke tossed his hands in the air.

"That's because your freaking 16 Michael!" Luke yelled, Michael went to stand but Calum held him down to his seat on the couch.

"Hey! Stop it! Michael is actually 18 but he is stuck in a 16 year olds body because he made a mistake, and he was trying to fix it until you two came in with your unsettling announcement of maybe getting a child" Calum said, Ashton placed his hands on his hips.

"His name is Zay and it's for sure were getting a child" Ashton corrected. Michael brushed his hands threw his hair.

"What were you thinking? Do you really want to bring a child into this world into this environment like this?" Michael said, Luke and Ashton were now leaning on the end of the couch cushions, looking deeply in rage at Michael and Calum.

"First off, he's 4 years old right now so were not bring him into the world, he's not an infant. Second, there's nothing wrong with this world, and third if we want a kid, it's not your problem now is it?" Luke said, Ashton nodding with him in agreement.

"Let's go Luke, maybe they will warm up to the idea of having kids one day" Ashton said standing up and holding Luke's hand as they walked out the door and slammed it behind them. Calum took his arm off of Michael and then stood up, adjusting his towel.

"Those two don't know what there talking about, children-" Calum shook his head "-they are children" he said and then walked off to his and Michael's room, probably to get dressed. Michael stood up as well, walking back over to the voodoo magic book and started to speak the spell again.

The Instructions seems a bit intense, first he had to make a pentagram, and so he drew one on the table with a red marker. Then place 5 candles at the stars points, and then it was the spell. But the spell seemed a bit more complex then normal, so Michael thought he made countless mistakes. Once he thought he was done, all the candles blew out, whooshing away and making the room to go dark, the only light left was left to aluminate the pentagram.

There was a huge BANG and darkness filled the room. Michael got shot back to the wall, and fell onto the floor. Then there was complete silence. Then, the lights went back on, the pentagram was gone. But now there was something else on the table. Michael stood up to go see what it was when he passed a mirror, and sure enough, he looked 18 years old. He was taller, more built, broader shoulders and manlier features. I smiled rushed upon his face, the spell worked.

Suddenly he heard a yawn come from what ever had appeared on the table, making him jump back. Whatever replaced the pentagram on Michael's table was... Alive. And, wrapped in a black blanket.

Michael slowly approached the blanket, tip toeing ever so slightly in an attempt to not startle what ever was there. As Michael got closed to it, he gasped loudly causing Calum to rush out of there room with just sweat pants on.

"What is it?! What's going on?!" Calum yelled, Michael but his finger tips and pointed to the blanket on the table. Him and Calum both looked over the blanket to see the last thing they wanted to see.

A brown haired 4 year old boy, dressed in small little jeans and a red t-shirt. The boy opened his eyes, and they were the nicest shade of brown, until suddenly, they did something that made Michael and Calum even more scared. They turned black for a split second.

And Michael and Calum looked at each other, now realizing that there story of voodoo and lies and dolls may have ended, but the next chapter was now beginning.

The End.
