Indigo POV

The bar is packed with a bunch of out-of-Towners, meaning my ass will be able to afford those new boots I've had my eyes on, from all of the tips tonight. Thank the lord for drunk horny men.

" Indi. " My father calls
" Yeah, whats up ?. "
" Please be careful tonight, Ajax told me that Andre is still lurking. " He takes a sip of his beer.
"  Yeah of course. Do you know who is covering Tico at the bar ? I'm going to be out back with the girls tonight in case I'm needed on stage. " The disapproval clear on my fathers features when I mention the fact I might be stripping instead of being safely secured behind the bar this evening.

" Dylan will be here shortly with the new prospect. "
" A new prospect, again ? What happened to the others ?"
" We've taken in a couple, the other's you've seen lurking around from previous runs have been selected to join the Nevada and Florida Charters. "
" Oh okay, fair enough. " I nod, pouring a shot.
" I'm gonna get going, be careful. " He leans down to kiss me on the forehead.
" Ride safe. "

" Indigo, the girls and I got you something. " Casey, one of the other strippers runs up to me.
" Oh really ?, Why ?. "
" For saving us that day. " She looks down. It never really accrued to me how much that event must've scarred my girls.

" Hey, don't worry about it, okay ?. You girl's were so brave that day. " I pull the fragile girl into my arms. Casey is one of our 'run always'. She came here fresh twenty one, according to Tico.
" Here. " Casey hands me a white box, inside lays a silver chain with the name 'Lila' on it.
" It's beautiful, thank you girls, honestly. " I pull all of the girls in this time.

" Who's dancing tonight ?, Please be sure to fill your names out on the board- including when you got in and when you leave, also if you can, please log your break times so we know where you are at all times. " I know it seems over dramatic and controlling, but even since the attack I had brought in a board for us all to log, that way if it were to happen again we knew exactly where everyone was.

" If you're not dancing tonight then please either help back here or help out at the bar serving drinks, Dylan is brining in a new prospect tonight and well we wanna see how he goes with 'distractions'. " I wink to my girls.

I watch as Casey heads out to the bar to kiss her boyfriend, Dylan. I can't help but wonder what it is like to have someone to give your all too, someone who stands beside you throughout everything, I envy that.

" Lila, can we have a hand ?. " Kayla calls from the back.
" What's up babe ?. "
" Trixie wants back in, said she's expecting a baby and needs the money. " Why am I not surprised.
" How is she going to dance with a living thing in her stomach ?. "
" She's barely 4 weeks in, barely noticeable, if she saves over half of her earnings each week I'm sure she'll have enough put aside to last when she starts showing. "
" Fine, but she's under strict supervision. We can't risk being charged if she loses this baby. "

" A shot please. " I sigh, taking a seat at the bar.
" What's wrong with you ?. " Dylan pours two shots, one for me and the other for himself.
" Trixie is pregnant and needing work. " I take back the shot, the familiar burn of vodka seeps my throat.
" Fuck, who's the father ? She's been sleeping around the club a lot. " I didn't even think of that, what if one of the men knocked her up. Shit.
" You don't think any of them would be stupid enough, right ?. "
" I'll find out. Any chance it could be that ex of yours ?. "
" Possibly, he does hate condoms. " I sigh, taking another shot before changing the subject.

" Have you seen Rash around lately ?. "
" Yeah, he's been around the Nevada charter a lot recently, but he's back now. Why ?. "
" We just never got the chance to catch up after my first few day's here, Just wanted to make sure he's doing okay. " I stand from my seat, putting a twenty dollar bill on the bar.
Although I don't have to pay, I'll always tip.
