𝕿 𝕯 𝕽 - Chapter 1.

It's been 2 days since my father passed away from cancer, also two days since said father left me a letter  telling  me I wasn't actually his daughter.
I was expected to be heading back to college, but with the loss of the man who raised me and the pain of packing up his belongings, I don't feel ready.

Although I just found out my real Dad is out there, somewhere. I still can't help but to mourn the one I just lost, and the cruel reality is.. I'm lost too.

It's 2am and I find myself rereading the letter,  much to my dismay I feel a very familiar liquid streak down my cheeks for the fourth time today.

" Please come back too me " I repeat over and over before drifting off into a much needed sleep.

I feel the sun piercing through the curtains as last night's memories come rushing through.
" I made you some eggs " mumbles my mother through the door, I haven't faced her since I read the letter, she opens the door before I get the chance to answer her.

" I know you want to leave, and I won't blame you if you do. I have your... fathers address "
I look at her with tears threatening to spill any second.

" Before you cut me off " She continues before I get the chance to speak.
" We have a house there, after we adopted you we had planned to move closer as originally they wanted to do monthly visits, that was until your father and I discovered he was the president of an M.C. and had many enemies coming their way. " She pauses

" Mom, thank you.. I would love to move, but if I do.. what about you? first we lost Rick and now Dad, I don't want to leave you alone due to my curiosity, it's not fair " I sigh.

" Indigo, I'll be okay. You should go! Change campus, discover yourself and your family, I know you can handle it.. why do you think we trained you? after what happened to your brother we knew one day you'd be faced with something like this, sadly unlike him you didn't have a choice. Take the house and whatever you need, I'll visit every few months "

" Okay Mom, I'll go.." I hug her.

After eating and making arrangements I started to pack, I couldn't help but stop and check the town out on my computer. ' Dibchester Falls' it's a small country town right near the edge of California, perfect. I can't help but look at the articles related to the town before looking at places hiring around there.

My Dad is a criminal.. am I sure this is what I want? to meet an outlaw criminal ? I mean, I could always go and just watch, I don't have to meet him if I don't like what I see ? right ?

Before I get the chance to talk myself out of it, I start applying for jobs, if this doesn't work out I can always apply in store, there is a local mechanics as well as a club hiring for a bartender, those are my go to, two things I'm good at, cars and alcohol.

I finish packing, being sure to pack my training gear and kit, as well as my tools just in case I get the job.

I pack the car up, and head back in before wishing my mom one last goodbye.

" Call me when you settle in okay ? "
" Yes Mom "
" Oh and I'll transfer over some money for you to fix the house up"
" Mom I already have Daddy's money "
" That's for you, the money I send is for the house. "
" Okay mom, I love you " I say before pulling out of the driveway.

Dibchester, I'm coming for you.
