The date went... so well! Lance was so happy that he met such a perfect guy. Sure it wasn't exactly what he was hoping for. Lance had come to terms with his bisexuality but he knew he kind of leaned more towards girls. He was expecting his soulmate to be a girl. So he was a bit surprised when it ended up being a guy.
Lance couldn't complain though. The date was amazing. Keith was amazing. Everything was absolutely amazing. Both of them clicked right away. They talked and talked until Lance's mom had to kick them out so she could close up.
Now, they were parked in Keith's driveway, just sitting.
"I hope my foster mom is in bed.." Keith sighs, getting ready to leave the car. "Wait!" Lance shouts a bit, freezing Keith in his tracks. He jumps out of the car and runs to the other boy's door, opening it for him.
The raven haired boy rolled his eyes at him but slowly climbed out of the car as he mumbled a soft thank you.
They walked up his driveway in silence, both content. When they got to Keith's porch, Keith was about to open the door before Lance stopped him.
"Keith?" Keith turned to look at him. "Yes?" He questioned. "I..um..." Lance rubs the back of his neck, looking at the ground. "I really enjoyed tonight." He finishes, looking back up at him just in time to see a soft adorable smile spread across his face that made Lance's stomach do backflips.
"Me too. I have never laughed or smiled so much in one night in my entire life." Keith's smile widens a bit. "Good. I'm glad." Lance returns the smile.
They stand there for a good moment before Lance goes to leave. "Welp. I'll see you tomorrow!" He grins. Now it's Keith's turn to make him stop. "Lance wait!"
Lance turns to look at him and Keith takes no time at all to plant a soft and gentle kiss onto the other boy's cheek.

"See you tomorrow." He smiles then heads inside quickly.
Lance can't do anything but just stand there. His hand placing itself on top of where Keith kissed him. He knows for sure that the smile plastered across his face probably looks stupid but he doesn't care. He had just met this boy and he already felt head over heels for him.
When the boy finally gathered himself, he headed towards his car all giddy. Once he got into his car, he looked up and saw Keith looking out the window on the second story. He smiled up at him and waved. The raven haired boy waved back, returning the smile. And then Lance pulled out of the his driveway and drove away.

Keith watched as Lance drove away, continuing to smile.
Tonight was weird. It wasn't spent alone cooped up in his room. It was spent with another person and it was happy.
Keith didn't know if he liked the idea of becoming close to someone being introduced so suddenly.
But, based off of the weird feeling in his chest and the remaining butterflies in his stomach, he wouldn't mind giving it a shot.
Keith decided to push all of those thoughts out of his head though and worry about it tomorrow.
That didn't stop him to glance one more time out the window at the driveway before getting up and getting ready for bed.
Sorry this chapter was a bit short but like Idid post a new one a couple days ago so....
I hope you guys enjoyed! It was really hard not to awww continuously while writing this chapter.
