Hey guys... I know I've been gone for over a year, I've had a lot of stuff going on in my life which caused me to have to take a break from Wattpad. I was also just been really stuck on this chapter. I finished writing it but I didn't like what I had written so I restarted and I didn't like that either which caused me to be blocked. But I'm back!!! My writers block is gone and I've got a bit of inspiration again. Next chapter will be out as soon as I find the time to finish writing it. Anyways, I won't keep you guys waiting any longer. Hope this chapter is okay. I love you all!!! Enjoy!! <3

Ps. Since there's been lots of changes, I removed the warning of a trigger warning in the last chapter.

"You weren't supposed to see those...."

Keith may have picked the wrong day to wear white.

"Keith?"

Keith didn't say anything and climbed out of the creek. He walked towards his bag and picked it up along with his empty cup.

"Keith where are you going??"

"Somewhere else." He replied, voice void of emotion.

"Wait!"

He didn't listen. He started walking towards the exit of the clearing.

"Keith! Stop!"

A hand clenched around Keith's wrist, making him freeze on the spot.

"Keith..." Keith just stared at the ground, not daring to look at the others face. He felt a cold drip of water fall from his hair fall onto his cheek. He wiped it off quickly, not wanting Lance to think he was crying.

Lance, still gripping onto his hand, moved around to stand in front of him.

"Keith... Hey.. look at me." He placed a hand on Keith's cheek. Keith looked up to meet his worried eyes.

"I don't want to talk about it." Keith responded after a long moment of silence. He turned his away again.

"Okay.. that's okay.. I just want you to know I'm here for you, okay? If you need anything I'll be there. You're not alone anymore." Lance reassured.

Keith felt tears creep up into his eyes so he quickly pulled away and started walking back to the parking lot through the trees. "It's getting late. We should go."

Lance quickly grabbed his things and ran to catch up with him. He wanted to walk next to him but the narrow pathway didn't allow him to. Lance watched Keith from behind and noticed that he was shivering.

Keith hadn't noticed. He was still focused on the fact that Lance now knew about the horrible bruises that had become semi-permanent on his body. He was scared that if he told Lance where they had come from, he would laugh at him and call him weak or something. But amidst his worry, he hadn't noticed Lance's jacket around his shoulders.

Keith stopped dead in his tracks which almost made Lance run into him.

"What's wrong?" Lance asked. Keith turned to face him but his eyes remained fixated on the ground and Lance could see that Keith was caught up in his head.
He gently placed a hand on his cheek which caused Keith to jolt. His eyes met Lance's.

"Why did you give me your jacket?"

"Because you're shivering."

It was at that moment, he had finally noticed he had, in fact, been shivering like crazy.

"But now you'll be cold.."
"I'm not the one who fell into a stream." Lance replied with a warm chuckle.

Keith wasn't laughing, however.
