Fun facts I must have said chapter 11 so much in Royal Temptations it's my phone's default filler lol. I mean. Chapter 11 got things real didn't it (if you follow both otherwise you're just confused lol).

I got my shuffle button back! Okay YouTube took away that function in my downloads, which sucked cause I have like 400 songs downloaded but a have a lot of repeats. But it's back!

Junmyeon's POV

...

It could have been worse, I guess. They could've barred me from coming back at all. I imagine I got off pretty light. Yeah, it was a dumb idea. But in the heat of the moment I wanted to see the place in all its glory without all the people there. I kind of missed it. Baekhyun and Sehun followed me all the way home, worry tracing every line on their faces. I assured them I was fine. I just wanted to be alone. I also let Sehun know that they agreed our stunt was solely on me and would not affect his outcome with the crew, which he looked slightly relieved about.

I finally lay in my bed on top of the covers, the ceiling spinning above me, my posters turning into a jumbled blur. I scrubbed my face with my hands. I should've been sleeping long by now, but I didn't feel tired in the slightest. I could try going to bed, I guess, but I feared another nightmare. A light tapping sound, however, brought me crashing back to reality. I sat up, glancing around. Where the hell was that coming from? Then I heard it again, and turned to the window next to my bed. There was no way. I opened it, shivering as the night air hit my skin. I glanced down, raising an eyebrow.

"Getting a bit old fashioned there aren't we?" I asked Yixing, who stood posed ready to throw another object. He let it fall to the snow instead. "What are you doing here?" I asked him, leaning out the window a bit. "And how did you know this was my window?"

"I didn't," he admitted. "The only thing I knew was this was your house from the couple times I walked you here and backtracked to mine. I just had to pray I didn't wake your mom." I had to chuckle. He craned his neck to peer up at me, dressed in a thick blue jacket and a matching blue hat, a scarf wound around his neck.

"You never did explain why you're here," I teased, resting my arms on the windowsill. "In the middle of the night no less. Banging on my window with pebbles like the movies."

"Well, I don't have your number, so...." he said, drawing out the o while trying to look innocent. I chuckled again, shaking my head.

"Smooth Xing, real smooth," I said with a roll of my eyes. "Give me a few seconds to get dressed and I'll be down." He grinned as I pulled myself back in and shut the window, feeling horribly conflicted. I sat on my knees for a second, my face tilted up and my eyes closed, flicking through an entire catalog's worth of scenarios. Finally I rose, throwing a coat on over my pajamas and lacing my sneakers to my feet. I did my best to tip toe passed mom's room (assuming she was home by now) and down the stairs. I opened the front door, jumping back a step when Yixing was just beyond it.

"Jumpy much?" he teased, poking my arm. I swatted his hand, huffing in annoyance. But it didn't last when his laugh hit my eardrums.

"What are you doing out here?" I asked, stepping out and closing the door so mom didn't hear. "It's the middle of the night. Shouldn't you be sleeping?" The laughter very quickly died off him. He scraped his shoe against the ground.

"Got a lot on my mind," he admitted. I hummed, understanding that. "Wanna do something?" he asked. I shrugged. There wasn't much to do right now. "Let's walk to the park," he suggested, offering his hand. I grasped his fingers in mine, letting him lead me along. "Got all your gift shopping done?" he asked.
