Fraser’s P.O.V
“Get up.”
“Faith? What are you doing in here?” I groaned, holding my head. She threw a cold, wet towel at me.
“Hold this to your head then take the painkillers.”
“Why are you being so nice to me?” I asked reaching for the painkillers and trying to ignore the fat man tap dancing in my head. She shrugged.
“I may as well be nice to you. You’re going to get hell from Olly, Will and Bex at the beach.”
“Oh crap!” I jumped off my bed and resisted the sudden urge to throw up. Faith passed me a bag and I started throwing random stuff from my drawers into it.
“Better hurry. We leave in 15 minutes and Dad will be back in the next hour.” My back stiffened and I hesitated at the sound of Faith mentioning him.
“I’ll be ready,” I said shortly. “You can leave now.”
On the inside I was actually dreading this whole beach trip. I screwed up big time with Siobhan. Even though technically I didn’t even know what I’d done to upset her so much in the first place.
All I had to do was make sure she ditched the Todd’s and Bex and then I could talk to her. I honestly should have known that Annabelle would have gotten involved. I just thought she’d be over it by now.
I grabbed my bag and made my way down the stairs.
Neither of us said anything until we pulled into the school gates.
“Um…,” she started.
“See you later,” I muttered unbuckling my seatbelt.
“Fraser wait!” I turned to face her and raised an eyebrow.
“Yeah?”
“I’msorryforbeingsuchabitchaboutthiswholeAnnabellething,” she said quickly.
“I’m sorry, what?!” She sighed deeply.
“I’m sorry for being such a bitch about this whole Annabelle thing,” she repeated slower. I smiled slightly.
“It’s alright,” I shrugged. “She’s your best friend; I couldn’t expect you to ditch her.”
“Bu-,” she began to say.
“It’s okay. Seriously.” I smiled at her one more time before getting out of the car.
I looked around the groups of people in the car park until I saw the person I was looking for.
Siobhan was stood between Olly and Will looking beautiful as always, laughing at something that one of them had said. Even from the distance I was away from her I could see the puffiness of her eyes and the darkish lines under her eyes. I mumbled curse words under my breath, feeling guilty.
“Hey Fraser.”
“Hi Jason,” I replied, my eyes flickering to him briefly before returning to Siobhan.
“So what’s up with you and Siobhan?” he asked hesitantly.
“What do you mean?” I asked, my eyes snapping to his.
“Well,” he started rubbing the back of his head. “You know what happened last night, with that hot blonde, and then Siobhan went all…ape shit on your ass.”
“Shut up,” I hissed through gritted teeth.
“What?” he asked, his eyes widening at my tone. “Everyone’s thinking it. I’m just the only one that’s asked. No-one can get anywhere near her with Olly and Will there.” I looked over at them and noticed that there was no one stood within metres of them even though the car park was starting to get pretty crowded.
