Battle Trial

I have a bad feeling. It's not that I think the pairings suck, it's just that..

With Bakugo around, I doubt that this'll end properly.

The first part of the training went well, not until Izuku had to face the hedgehog.

To put it short, (because I'm lazy and all) I was right. It didn't end well. AT ALL.

Hedgehog and Izuku had some kind of deathmatch or something.

In the end, the heroes took the victory. But Izuku was severely injured.

I was worried, but glad that it was finally over.

That was extremely long for the first team.

By then, the other teams took their turn on the training.

This one team only took a minute. Or less.

This guy told his partner to go outside and just freezed the whole place from the inside of the building.

Woah.

"All right. I got a plan." I face Mina.

"Go on."

"One of them will most likely stay by the weapon as defense, and the other will roam around the building for offense."

"They can communicate through the earpiece. Like us. So if we manage to ambush the one used for attacking, the other will take action."

"So it's best we don't split up?"

"Yeah. We'll take care of the offense through teamwork."

"Sounds good!"

"However, if they didn't split up and we had to take it to the room where the weapon is.."

"Then leave the weapon to me!" She grins.

"Alright. Let's take that as plan B."

It was our team's turn.
The siren went off and the timer started.

We walked inside the building.

We walked further...
And further...
But nothing was there.

No one ambushed us, no one made a sound.

"Weird." Mina mumbles.

Then..

The dude with the big lips jumps infront of us! He was buff this time, too.

"Mina!"

"On it!"

Mina shoots acid at him, which causes him to dodge.

My plan to distance him from us worked like a charm.

I was lucky my solar and lunar gauges were full. This place had no source of energy at all.

I pointed at the ground and prepared to shoot a solar beam.

My plan was to use it like a flash grenade.

"Mina, close your eyes!"

She obeyed as I shot the beam down.

When I opened my eyes, there was a huge hole on the ground separating me and Mina from Big Lips.

Fortunately, he couldn't see properly, which made my plan successful.

I grabbed Mina's hand and jumped to the other side of the gap on the ground. I froze half of our opponent's body with a lunar beam and proceeded to run with Mina before he can break the ice with his fists or something.
