The next morning the boys and I left Baton Rouge and went back home. The plane ride was very much uneventful except for the few fans that came up to Andy and the guys wanting autographs. Although there were a few people who had heard about Dylan and came up to me to offer their condolences. I was polite, but on the inside I just wanted to move on and stop thinking about him.

When we got back we learned that Max had officially left Escape The Fate. Craig’s friend, TJ Bell, and Monte’s brother, Michael, were the new guys. I was anxious to meet them, but I missed Max. But I was also partially glad that he had left. Now he had the opportunity to get the help that I, and probably everyone else, knew he needed.

“Can we go over to Craig’s?” I asked a couple days after we got back. I never thought I’d hear those words come out of my mouth.

“What for?” asked Andy.

“To meet the new guys, of course.”

Andy looked at the rest of the guys who all gave him a look that said ‘I don’t really give a shit.’

He then looked back at me and said, “Sure. Text one of the guys.”

“Okie dokie.” I smiled.

Andy gave me a weird look as he turned his attention back to the TV. In turn, I texted Monte.

Heyyy

Hii:P

Wat r yall doin?

Nm just chillin…wanna come over??

I thought ud never askJ we’ll be there in ten minutes

Haha awesome cu then

With that I went upstairs to change out of my sweats into something a little more presentable. And that consisted of a pair of really tight skinny jeans that made my butt look amazing, a Sleeping With Sirens shirt, and some slip-on converse that I bought a few months ago. As I was fixing my hair I yelled, “If anyone wants to come with me you better be ready in five minutes!”

Five minutes later I walked downstairs to see Jake and Ashley waiting for me by the door.

I looked back to the other three, “No one else? Okay then, let’s go.” I turned back to Ashley and Jake and opened the door. We left and walked the five minute walk to Craig’s house. We got there and I was about to knock on the door when suddenly I had a brilliant idea. I told Jake and Ashley and they just smiled evilly. I pounded on the door and Jake belted out, “Police! Open up!”

Then we ran around to the side so they couldn’t see us when they opened the door, but we would be able to see them.

Monte opened the door and looked around. I turned to the boys and counted to three silently with my fingers. We then burst out of the bushes yelling, “Boo!” The look on Monte’s face was priceless; he looked like he pissed his pants!

If he said anything I didn’t hear it-I was too busy laughing my ass off, as were Jake and Ashley.

“Maybe I shouldn’t let you guys in.” Monte said with his arms crossed over his chest.

“No, wait. We’re sorry. We won’t do it again, promise.” As I spoke short bursts of laughter erupted and I ended up giggling a little bit.

“I don’t believe you, but fine you can come in.” Monte smiled. He walked back inside and we followed.

When we walked in I noticed two unfamiliar faces, one of which resembled Monte. I guessed that was Michael. The other guy had dark spikey hair and was sitting next to Craig talking to him. I assumed that was TJ. I looked at the man next to him. Craig’s eyes were filled with sympathy (probably for my late brother), but they also held regret. I kept my eyes emotionless as I held his gaze for what seemed like forever. Eventually I offered him a small smile and sat down on the floor.
