On Tuesday, Variety ran an ad about the HBO remake of The Breakfast Club, including the announcement of Anthony Michael Hall cast as the Principal.

Andrew and I drove to Equinox in Hollywood next to the studio to work out before filming.

The first day of rehearsals we focused on the first thirty minutes of the film. The library set was recreated on the HBO lot. Only the five of us would be needed in rehearsals for the first week.

My blocking for the beginning included walking into the library knocking over items on the front desk,  stealing a metal figurine, and throwing it in my pocket. The rest of the scenes we sat at our desk and conversed with each other. Lowe instructed us on the different camera angles and order of the shots.

Wednesday morning Andrew and I worked out before rehearsals. After filming we met with Karen at the YA Studio. Karen suggested that Carrie stop at Starbucks after rehearsals the following day with Simon before our HBO meeting. "The group should be seen out with alternating members. Simon needs to be included."

Thursday morning, Andrew and I were leaving the gym and heading towards the HBO lot. Paparazzi snapped shots as we climbed into Andrew's Range Rover.

Rehearsals focused on the middle of the film. Blocking. Camera angles.

After rehearsals, Carrie and Simon stopped at Starbucks to be photographed before the HBO meeting at the YA Studio.

At the HBO meeting, everybody was talking about the media buzz. All the producers seemed happy with the filming of rehearsals so far. We were told we came across, ", young, fresh, friendly, and professional."
