Kyle's POV

Amora is supposed to be coming home today, I am not sure what exactly happened. All I know is that there was an accident and that everyone was hurt. I hope they all made it out okay, I dont know what it would be like to lose my parents or siblings.

Putting the keys in the engine, put my seat belt on,  put my foot on the break, and put the car in reverse. Within 15 minutes I pull up to her drive way, noticing the car in the driveway was her aunt's. While walking up the stairs a moving truck pulled up. I walked back down the stairs and went to the moving truck.

" Hello, umm can I help you?" I asked anxiously.

" Well this is the Cartos residents isn't it?" the driver said with a curious look on his facial expressions.

" Umm, well yes it is but they aren't moving." I said with something catching in my throat. With that a hand touched my shoulder.

" Umm, fellas everything is packed and ready to be loaded. Whenever you're ready to start." Amora said to the two boys, who just nodded and headed on into the house. Her eyes were red and puffy. They were glazed over with a glossy coat. She looked as though there was no light left in her. This isn't the girl I have grown up with. The girl I knew was cheerful, happy, and smiling all the time. She always had a light in her.

" Amora, what is all of this? What's going on?" I asked in fear of the worst thing ever, me losing my best friend. She looked at the ground with tear filled eyes.

" It's my parents Kyle..." she said in almost a whisper. I wretch my hand out and gently brought her face up to mine.

" What is the matter, love?" I said calmly

" They didn't make it Kyle. They are gone." She said with tears streaming down her face like waterfalls. I was in shock but I did what only I knew to do. Pulling her close and hugging her as tight as I could. I felt like I could stay in this moment forever, all I have ever wanted to do is be there for her. She is under the impression that I am gay which is partially true, but  she is the one girl I have wanted to be with. Yes, she is my best friend but she is also the one person I love more then everything. I want her here, safe in my arms.

" What are the moving trucks here for? Are you leaving?" I said, my heart throbbed just at the thought of her leaving. I held her closely afraid to let her go. Her head was embedded in my shoulder.

She brought her head up and whipped some of the tears from her eyes and laid her head on my chest, then she said, " My parents wanted Liel and I to go to our Uncle Jonathan's if anything were ever to happen to them." We stood there for what seemed like forever and then we walked to the stairs of their porch. She sat to my left and laid her head on my shoulder and grabbed my hand.

We sat there for what seemed like forever, and when I looked over at her she had fallen asleep. Her aunt Beth came outside on the porch. I put my finger up to my lips.

" Hey Kyle." she said in a whisper

" Hey Mrs. Beth, If it's okay with you I am going to take her to my house so she can sleep comfortably. Is that okay with you, I can bring her over to your house in the morning?" I asked very quietly so I didn't wake her up.

" I think that is a good Idea. That gives you time to say goodbye. No matter what she thinks, I know you love her. You might date guys but this girl makes the butterflies in your stomach go crazy. I see how you look at her, like she is the only girl in this world. I am glad she has someone like you right now." she said standing back up and started to go back in the house.

" I do love her. This isn't goodbye, I don't think I could ever say goodbye forever. If I have to I'll drive everyday or weekend to see her. She is everything to me and I would do anything for her." I said with a smile and Beth grinned and walked back into the house.

Scooping Amora into my arms I carried her into my house, I hushed my parents so they didn't wake her. I headed up stairs to my room and laid her down in my bed. I took her shoes off and laded them over by my door, I pulled the blanket over her and kissed her on the forehead. For a moment, I looked at her and swore I could have seen a slight smile appear on her lips as I closed the door quietly.

" Hey mom." I said as I walked into the kitchen.

" You wanna tell me what that was about?" She said with a smile on her face. Mom was the only one that knew about my true feelings for Amora.

" Her parents didn't make it out of the hospital, and their dying wish was for her and her little brother move in with their uncle, so she is leaving soon. She was crying and fell asleep on my shoulder. I asked her aunt if I could bring her here so she could sleep peacefully. She said it was a good idea and it would give me time to say my goodbyes. She knows about my feelings for Amora. I don't know how but she does. I will never be able to let her go." I said as a tear fell down my cheek. She was suppose to be my forever and now she is leaving and taking my heart with her.
