Chapter 25

Kara and Barry's Apartment (Barry POV)

"This is the right place, right? I can't really remember what it looked like." Cisco asked me as we finished exiting the breach he made.

"Yeah, this is the place." I answered him. I remembered this place perfectly. I always liked it, better then my loft. I never admitted to anyone, but Kara did had one of the best decorating styles out anyone I every knew. Somehow she made bright beautiful colors work so well together.

My attention got drawn to Cisco when I noticed him pull out some sorta strange device from the brief case he brought with him. He pulled out multiple parts and began to assemble it together, "What is that Cisco?"

"This, is my Tachyon Scanner. I've been using it find out where our little speedster thief has been." Cisco said finishing assembling his device. When the device was complete, I couldn't help but noticed that it looked like a glorified metal detector.

"Ok? But what exactly are you looking for?" I was still confused on what his whole plan was to find his suit. Honestly to me, I've given up on the suit. I never noticed that we still had the suit, and to me, it made no difference to find it. Cisco on the other hand, was nothing less then determined to bring back his suit. He's spent the past five months jumping from Earth to Earth, trying to find it.

"Well, in short, this device will help me identify the presents of tachyon particles. All speedsters leave a trail of tachyon particles when they run, all I need to do is scan for them, and follow the trail." Cisco said as he played with the device.

"Ok, but those particles must be like five months old."

"Yeah I know. I'm calibrating the device to only pick up particles that are appropriately five months old." Cisco answered back, "If that thief was here at the same day he stole my suit, this thing will pick him up."

"Well, maybe you should start outside, because I doubt you are going to find any in Kara's apartment." I laughed as he began to scan the loft.

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

My laughter stopped completely. 

"I got a hit!" Cisco yelled and threw his arms in the air.

"What? You actually found tachyon particles!" I was confused.

"Yeah!" Cisco said continuing to scan the room.

"Well then what are we waiting for? Lets follow the trail and get my suit back!" I felt enthusiastic, I didn't know why, but finding who this speedster was made me really want to meet him.

I immediately recognized a frown fall on Cisco's face, "We can't?"

"Why?"

"Because there is no clear path present, there are tachyon particles covering every square inch of this place." Cisco explained, "I don't understand."

Immediately after saying that we heard the door knob giggle. As it opened up I heard talking and laughter from the two people coming into the room.

(Kara POV)

I couldn't stop laughing, "Barry the ice cream guy was not making a face at you."

"I swear he was!" He laughed while taking a bite of his ice cream, "Right after I asked him if he could add a fourth scoop of ice cream, he gave me a look."

I couldn't stop laughing at how paranoid my boyfriend sounded, "Well maybe don't get greedy next time and just take the three scoops he offered you."

"I don't know why he got mad, I gave him a large tip." Barry said a pouting face.

I laughed and wrapped my on free arm around his neck, "I love that pouty face you make, it's so adorable."
