Photo above is of none other than our gorgeous Chase!
I knocked on the front door of Tristan’s house and self-consciously pulled my green parka around me. It was beginning to snow a little outside, a drastic change from the weather last week. I was still freezing my ass off when the door swung open, revealing a laughing Chase. His face fell when he saw me.
“Stalking me now sweetheart?” he frowned. How dare he talk to me like I was a notch in his belt? I glared and pushed past him into the warm, large interior of Tristan’s home. His house was a mini mansion and absolutely stunning in my opinion.
“Is Tristan in?” I ignored his comment and looked around at the glassy interior. Tristan never showed his money off so I had never known that he was quite so rich.
“Upstairs with Zee, Calvin and Connor,” Chase followed me casually up the staircase.
“Who’s Connor?” I asked.
“His older brother. He’s home from university this week and he’s decided to stay for a month. But you should know that, shouldn’t you?” he smirked. I narrowed my eyes.
“I was invited here, okay?” I snapped angrily.
“Never said you weren’t, butterfly,” he shrugged. I stopped walking and pointed my index finger threateningly at him.
“Stop with the pet names,” I ordered. “I am not here for you, I am here for Tristan.”
“Okay,” he nodded. I nodded back and straightened up a little. I took a few more steps. “Honey bunch,” he added.
I growled under my breath but figured that I should just ignore him. I walked to Tristan’s bedroom and opened it up to find four guys lounging around the painted white room. Chase came up behind me and whispered in my ear, making me jump in surprise, causing the guys to look up at me.
“Babe!” Tristan cheered, getting to his feet and pulling me by the waist to collapse on his bed. I kissed him on the lips for a few moments before noticing we had an audience. I blushed and sat up.
“Who’s this honey?” an older looking Tristan grinned. That must be Connor. His hair was shaved at the sides but longer on the top, like Chase’s was. His eyes were the same green as Tristan’s and they sparkled as they took me in.
My hair was up in a messy bun and I had applied my makeup carefully that morning. I was wearing a black vest top, a green parka that reached just above my ass, black leggings and black combat boots.
“That’s the girl Tristan scored,” Calvin cut in. I smiled politely but felt completely embarrassed. I glanced over to Chase but his eyes were focused on the Xbox in front of him. “What’s your name again, love?” What was it with guys and pet names?
“Scarlett,” I half-whispered. Tristan cockily slung an around my shoulder and I leaned into him, sighing with relief.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen Tristan with a girlfriend for more than a week,” Connor was laughing. “No offence Scarlett. You’re a lovely girl, you must deserve better.” Snorts of laughter arose.
“You’re an ass,” I commented. More snorts.
“Oh, I like this one!” Connor cheered.
“Babe, could you go get us all something to eat since you’re a woman and that?” Calvin roared with laughter.
“Sexist pig,” I commented again.
It went on like that for quite some time. It felt like I was just insulting everyone in the room. In the end, I gave up and lay on Tristan’s bed as the boys went back to their usual banter with one and other. I read in a magazine one time that guys talk about girls more than girls talk about guys. I pursed my lips and pretended to sleep.
