Elena, Allyson, and Caroline are all walking towards the high school, chatting. Elena hasn't brought up Allyson's rare species, because she promised Allyson she wouldn't bring it up. Especially because Damon could be listening in at any moment, especially when it comes to Allyson.

"Have you even talked to Bonnie?" Elena asks the blonde bwyeemnher and Ally.

"No, I'm mad at her." Caroline replies. "She needs to make the first move."

"Be the bigger person," Allyson offers.

Caroline is actually starting to like Allyson again. "Impossible in her presence."

"Why are you so pissed at her anyway?" Elena asks.

"She's a thief, that's why." Caroline replies, being dramatic as usual. "I have her my necklace and she refuses to give it back. It's a matter of principle."

Elena sighs at this. "All right. I tried. I'm officially out of it.";

"Good, your turn." Caroline replies. "Where's Stefan? Have you talked to him?"

"He's avoiding me." Elena replies.

"Why?" Caroline asks.

Elena hesitates, and Ally is tense. "It's complicated." And then the bell rings.

"We'll see you later." Allyson says before leaving with Elena.

Allyson is sitting in history class, she is behind Elena today. A younger teacher is in front of the class. Allyson smiles at she sighs. A new teacher, she says to herself. He's cute. Mom will like him. Allyson smirks at this thought.

"Good morning, everyone." The new teacher greets. "Alrighty." He continues, nervous slightly, and he writes his name on the board. "Alaric Saltzmam. It's a mouthful, I knownndowsnt exactly roll of the tongue." Alaric's states, Allyson smiles. "Saltzman is of German origins. My family emigrated here in 1755 to Texas. I, however was born and raised in Boston. Now the name Alaric belongs to a very dead great grandfathers will never be able to thank enough. Yoo can call me Ric. I'm You're new history teacher."

"Youve got this, Ric." Allyson declares, I like him already.

"Thank you,...."

"Allyson." Ally says. "Allyson Sommers. But you can call me Ally."

Alaric nods and he sighs. "Thank you, Ally."

Allyson nods, knowing Alaric is nervous because it's his first day.

"Allyson." Alaric says as Ally enters his classroom when Jeremy leaves. "I wanted to personally thank you for that this morning. You're the only supportive student so far."

"Everyone needs a support system, Ric." Allyson replies. "I'll be the start."

Alaric shakes hands with Allyson, and she leaves him. Alaric leans against the desk, and he just sighs.

Allyson sees Damon bugging Bonnie outside.

"Damon." Allyson says and Damon's mouth snaps closed. "Leave her alone."
