"You still have her locked in the safe?" Giuseppe asks his mom's best friend Isaac. "You've been in her head for an hour already. What, still nothing."

"Great, Another Stefan," Isaac mutters. "How you doing in there?" Issac asks Elena. "Is the old you ready to come out and play?"

"Go to hell," Elena replies hastily.

"Okay, back you go." Isaac says and closes the safe back. "We can do this the nice or we can do it the other way, but either way, we're not stopping until you turn your humanity switch on."

Stefan and the kids all head upstairs. Caroline enters the house, and she greets Freya, and Elijah, and Giuseppe.

"Where is she?" Caroline asks, referring to the emotionless Elena. "I want to see her."

"We're not letting anyone see her," Elijah replies as he grabs a soda Demi the mini fridge by the booze cabinet.

"That's the whole point," Stefan adds. "Isolation leads to misery, leads to emotion,"

"She's been here for days," Caroline replies. "She hasn't improved at all?"

"She doesn't want to, Caroline," Henrik replies as he comes downstairs from his room. Not yet, all right?"

"She's devastated," Jenna adds as she comes in from the kitchen.

"She lost her brother, she attacked her friends, she killed an innocent woman," Miranda says as she comes up from the basement and she sits beside Giuseppe. "If I lost my brothers, I'd die." Giuseppe pulls Miranda into a hug as Jenna sits on his other side.

"You said that you knew how to help her," Caroline states.

"I did say that," Stefan replies. "We are."

"How, by torturing her?" Caroline asks.

"It's not torture, it's an intervention," Freya speaks from the basement door. "The only chance e have with her is to provoke her, to trigger something... Rather is fear, anger, self-pity, anything. Follow me." Freya leads Caroline down to the cellar door. "Good luck, Caroline. You're going to need it." And Freya leaves her.

Elena is now tied to the chair with all of the Salvatore kids, Damon, Stefan, and Isaac looking st her.

"Good," Isaac speaks. "You're awake. We thought you could use some sunshine."

Elena looks at her hand and sees her ring gone.

"Looking for this?" Henrik asks as he holds Elena's daylight ring up.

"Ah, you know the rules," Isaac continues for the boy. "Bad girls don't get nice jewelry."

"You took my ring. I'm devastated," Elena says dully. "And bored. Can I go back to solitary now?"

"No," Isaac replies. "I kind of like you in the hot seat."

"Whenever you're ready, brother," Damon says to his little brother.
