Damon and Allyson go downstairs as Stefan and Isaac, and out the triplets in the playpen. 

"We're going to lose her, Isaac," Stefan says.

"She needs time," Isaac says. "It's only been a couple days."

"Her humanity's off," Stefan reminds him. "She's basically numb to everything that makes her who she is."

Isaac pours himself a drink, some bourbon. "She's a vampire. Off switch is one of the biggest perks. If being undead gets you down," Isaac snaps a his fingers, "voila, vampire Prozac." The vampire takes a swig of his drink as Damon gets himself a glass of scotch, his personal favorite while Allyson as a simple glass of white wine Elijah has recently sent her.

"She burned down her family home with her brother's dead body still inside," Allyson reminds her friend.

"Saves us the trouble of having to do it ourselves," Isaac claims. "I call that a win. Worst case scenario, I'll invoke the sire bind and tell her to turn it back on."

"No, her brother just died," Stefan says. "If you force all that grief on her at once, it's going to overwhelm her. We need to give her a reason to want to turn it on."

"Fine, we'll show her a good time," Isaac says and sees the skeptical look on Stefan's face. "I know it's controversial, Stefan, but people actually like to have fun."

"You really think that's going to work?" Stefan asks.

"There's only one way to find out," is Isaac's response.

Mystic Falls High School

Jenna and Miranda walk into the school together when Henrik goes to join Matt, he and Matt are friends. The twins are on the cheerleading team with Caroline, they love the sport. Jenna notices Elena approaching the bulletin board where there is a poster advertising Jeremy's memorial. She rips it off and moves to the cheerleading invitational flyer.

"Hi, Matt," Miranda greets with a blush.

"Hey, Mir," Matt greets with a grin, he likes her, too.

"I have an idea," Elena says as she approaches the group, she holds up the cheer flyer. "Can you Fer me my old spot in the cheerleading squad?"

"I mean, technically, yeah," Caroline replies. "I'm captain, but I thought you hated cheerleading."

"I did, but now I think it would be really fun to jump around and toss people in the air," Elena replies. "It's not like the routines are hard."

Caroline glances at Matt and the twins before she smiles at Elena. "I... Think that would make Isaac really happy."

Elena smiles back, but the twins can see the vacancy in her smile.

Sherif's Office.

Allyson pushes the pram into the sheriff's office with Stefan, and Liz brings them into her office. Without really speaking at first, Liz Forbes hands Stefan a file before she looks in on the babies. She congratulates Allyson before she sits.
