17... Let The Right One In

Allyson sits in her window sill, watching as a storm roars outside. She went home after the whole Frederick ordeal at the Salvatore's. Damon said he would take care of Stefan, he wanted Allyson to rest and stuff in her own bed. Elena walks into Allyson's room, the storm had woken her.

"C'mere, cousin." Allyson says and holds open her quilt.

Elena crawls onto the window sill with Allyson, and curls up to her cousin / best friend. "Thanks, Ally."

"I love storms." Allyson says with a smile. "Elena, can you get the box from my closet. I'd like your help reading through my family journals."

Elena gets up, and she walks over to Allyson's closet. She grabs the box and places it on the window sill, and sits on the other side. The box is now in between Elena and Allyson. The girls know they're not biologically related, but Allyson doesn't care and neither does Elena. They're family in each other's eyes.

They grab a journal each, and read. Studying up on fairies.

Elena and Allyson are now at the Salvatore home. Allyson is helping Damon board up the window that Frederick broke through, and BethAnne. Stefan and Elena are watching them.

"I saw we go to Pearl's, bust down the door, and annihilate the idiot that attacked us last night." Damon suggests, he's mad, but he's glad they didn't lay a finger on Allyson.

"Yeah, and then what?" Stefan asks. "We turn to rest of that house of vampires and say, oops, sorry?"

"I can't believe you made a deal with her." Elena states, Allyson is still helping Damon.

"It was more like a helpful exchange of information." Damon says. "And it's not like I had a choice. She's... scary. Besides, she's gonna help me get Katherine back." This actually makes Allyson smile.

"Of course she is." Elena comments. "Damon gets what he wants, as usual. No matter who gets hurt in the process."

"You don't have to be snarky about it." Damon replies. "Plus, Allyson won't get hurt. She's badass, in case you forgot."

"I woke up this morning to learn that all the vampires have been released from the tomb." Elena says, Allyson to,d her while they read the Sommers' family journals about th fairy gene. "I've earned snarky."

"How long are you going to blame be for turning your birth mother into a vampire?" Damon asks the human.

"I'm not blaming you, Damon." Elena says. "I've accepted the fact your a self serving psychopath with no redeeming qualities besides the love you carry for Ally."

"Ouch." Damon mutters. "And I do love Allyson, more than anything."

"This is being very productive." Stefan says. "We're going to figure out a ya to deal with Pearl and the vampires. Yeah? Hmm."

Damon and Allyson leave them.

Allyson and Elena are time now, and Elena ignores Damon's call. Again. Then someone knocks on the door, and Allyson opens it. She smiles when Damon kissss her head, and he enters.

"You're ignoring me." Damon says to Elena as he wraps a protective arm around Allyson, knowing he might need her fairy later, which he has named Sofija Salvatore.
