Warnings: aggressive fluff probably

You've always enjoyed your job at the coffee shop. And you enjoy it just a little bit more when a certain customer comes in every morning before school...

Y/F/D = your favourite drink

You knew all of the regulars in your little coffee shop in Queens. Between school and homework and friends and all of the other stuff going on in your life, you actually did quite enjoy working there early in the mornings and later on in the afternoon and evenings.

Everyone who came in had a story - from the sweet old lady who had been coming to the café since it was set up in the '50s and the owner knew so well that he always made sure her tea order was ready before she had even arrived, to the new parents who had just moved in across the road and desperately needed fresh, hot, strong black coffee with a newborn baby and home renovations and everyone in between.

But none of them were quite as consistent with their visits as Peter Parker. Every single morning he would be there and every single morning you'd greet him with the same smile and shared glances and quickly made drink.

Despite the fact you left your morning shift much later than he left the coffee shop after getting his drink, Peter Parker would always arrive to home room late, if at all. He would blush when he noticed you noticing him walking into first period Physics late but you'd just give him a shy smile in reply rather than saying anything.

And this morning seemed to be no different.

"Hi, Peter!"
You felt brave today. You hadn't even realised that you had decided to speak to him until the words left your lips.

With his big brown eyes, he looked up at you, seemingly slightly startled by your louder than normal and upbeat tone. But he didn't seem agitated, or annoyed by it, as a faint pink rose in his cheeks and a small smile danced on his lips.

"Hi, Y/N."

"Just the same as normal?"

Since you could remember him coming to the shop, Peter had always ordered the same coffee. It was nothing too exciting - just black coffee with sugar; probably to keep him awake during class. He was a brilliant student, but in all of the classes you were in with him, Peter always seemed to be falling asleep. That didn't stop him from getting the right answer whenever the teacher called him, but still. You couldn't help but wonder what he must get up to. Studying? Did he hang out with friends a lot? You couldn't imagine him going to those big parties that the more popular students held a lot - Peter seemed like too much of an introvert for that. But maybe. You didn't really know how much you knew about Peter, which made him interesting.

"Errrrmm.... yeah. But could I also get a Y/F/D please?" he added, almost nervously. You smiled back.

"Sure."

You could feel his eyes on him as you made both drinks, aware of the time as you did so. Huh. Peter was later than normal today and you hadn't realised.

"Here you go." You handed him both of the cups very carefully and he took both of them before stepping to one side.

You checked your watch again, before calling over to your boss that you had to leave for school now.

As you hung up your apron and turned around to leave the coffee shop, Peter was waiting. Outstretched in his hand was the other drink that he had ordered.

"You mentioned it was your favourite in Physics once." He blushed again, brighter red than before and looked down at his feet. "I was kinda hoping we could walk together?"

"I'd love that, Peter."

"And, errrr, would you wanna go get coffee sometimes or something?"
As he realised what he had said and tried to correct himself, you giggled and shushed him.

"That'd be perfect, Peter. I know just the place."
