Chapter 9

"Go get a shower or something, wash your face I don't want to see those dull eyes. I will find you something to wear and we are going to the rehersal. You're gonna act normal and like nothing happened yesterday. When Evan told us, he seemed so ashamed of himself for either not kissing you back or just letting you go, run off like that. He isn't mad at you or anything, probably all he wants is to talk things over."
"Probably" she agreed
"Are you feeling any better?"
"Yeah, a lot actually! Thank you, Jesse"
"Anytime" They smiled and looked into each others eyes for a moment. Jesse broke the moment and said,

''Go now'', smiling.

When they arrived back in the studio, all eyes were on Avril.
"Where. Were. You."
"You know the story. Dude I'm tellin' ya, that show can easily obssess you. I know from experience"
"We'll take that excuse this time"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever" she rolled her eyes.
"Any new songs, Av?" Asked Evan. She turned towards him to see him smiling. A light shade of pink slowly started forming across her face.
"Y-yeah. Only a few sentances though."
"Can we hear them?"
She nodded
"Her feelings she hides
Her dreams she can't find

"Giiirl! That is way more than just a few sentances!" Said Charlie, amazed.
While smiling, Avril looked at Evan who now looked extremly sad. Avril's smile quickly faded away. Looking him straight in the eye, she softly asked:
"What do you think about it, Evan?"

"I-I like it"

''It's quite dark though.'' Jesse added.

''Thought of an album name yet?''

''Actually, yes. I'm thinking Under My Skin or something like that''

''That sounds so cool''

''Yeah, I guess so'' She chuckled.

Months later, Avril came to the studio much happier. The guys noticed, so Evan asked her

''Hey Av, you look very happy today! Any special reasons?''

She smiled

''Actually, yes. I have a boyfriend now''

Evan smiled widely

''Really?! Av, that's amazing! Who's the lucky guy?''

''Me'' said Jesse.

''You two? God damn it!'' I was hoping for Evan and Avril to end up together!!''

The three laughed

''I thought so too but I grew out of it'' she chuckled

''No offense Evan'' Avril added

''None taken'' he laughed
