Chapter 7

Previously...

Outside, he heard something that sounded like quiet crying. He slowly opened the door, came in and closed it behind him, only to find Avril, on the floor, in tears.
"Avril? What's wrong?"
"N-nothing! I-I'm fine."
"You have been in here for half an hour, I come to check on you only to find you drowning in your own tears!"
Avril smiled widely.
"Evan, sweetie, I am not crying because I'm sad."
He gave a puzzled look.
"These are tears of joy"

Chapter 7:

"Of joy?" He giggled
"Are you that happy you kissed me?"
"Oh shut up, you! You'd be just the same if your crush kissed you!"
"Come here crazy!"
He hugged her tight, Avril made it clear she did not want to let go.
Unfortionatly, it had to stop at once.
He sat down on the floor with his back facing the wall, Avril was standing over the sink taking her ruined make up off.
"Come here" Evan said to her
"Why?" Avril asked
"Let me help"
She rolled her eyes playfully, took the micelar water and some paper and sat down next to him.
Evan carefuly started cleaning off the smuged make up from her face.
"You know, you really should stop wearing make up"
"Why?"
"There's two reasons. Number one, you are always crying. Number two, you look so much better without it."
She giggled
"If you say so"
About 3 minutes later he was done and was about to stand up and leave but Avril grabbed his wrist and pulled him back down.
"Please...s-stay" He chuckled at how Avril's behaviour suddenly turned into sweetness and shyness, which he found very, very adorable.
"Sure, but why?"
"I...I just want to be a-alone with you...completly alone...at least for a b-bit."
"Of course, Av." Evan smiled.
He opened his arms and pulled her very close to him. They stayed like that for a few minutes, Evan then pulled her even closer and kissed her forehead. He held her close to his chest, it was really quiet between the two. Avril could swear that she could hear her own heartbeat and was sure that Evan heard it too. She kept quiet and made sure that she enjoyed every second with him. Well that didn't last long... When Avril had finally bulit up the courage, she sat on his lap and kissed his cheek with her arms wrapped around his neck. In that moment, others bursted trough the door.
"Dude! We thought that Bloody Mary dragged you guys in the mirror, but you two are here making out!" Said Matt.
"We weren't making out, okay?" Avril said, full of embarrassment. She tried not to show it but of course, failed.
"Out!" Evan yelled, making them all laugh, including him.
"Let's leave these two love birds alone. Just try not to get pregnant at 18"
Said Mark, jokingly
"WE ARE NOT LOVE BIRDS!! AND OF COURSE I WON'T IDIOT!!!" Avril shouted before the door slammed shut.
After it did she sighed and layed back in his arms.
"Sorry about that, Evan..."
"Hey, it's not your fault that they are jerks"
"Not that...I mean..." Evan sighed
"Is it the kiss again?"
She looked down, unable to look into his bright blue eyes.
"I already told you, it's fine!"
"No I mean...this whole day... I don't want you to be forced into kissing me, even if it's a dare"
"Oh shut it, adorable"
"A-adorable?" Avril's face turned red
"Yep! Before I hugged you, you were all chatty and crazy. But now? Now you're so shy all of a sudden! I think that is adorable and attractive!"
"Well I think it's pathetic"
"Why would it be?" He smiled, looking into her ocean blue eyes.
"Because everything I do is pathetic. Especially when I'm around you. Then I become so awkward and I can't stop stuttering"
"First of, I don't think you're pathetic at all nor do your fans, second of why? Why so shy and awkward?"
"Oh shut up! You know exactly why! Please don't make me say it!"
He laughed
"Okay okay!"

A few days later...

Avril was awoken on a Saturday morning by her phone ringing. That's one thing she hated the most. She groaned and picked up.
"What?" She asked in a raspy voice
"Wake up sleepy head! It's 2 pm!!"
It was Evan
"Holy shit! No way!!"
"What were you doing last night?! How long have you been up?"
"I'm not sure....I just know I was watching Pretty Little Liars. It's possible that I fell asleep at about 5am."
"You. Are. Crazy."
"I know. Thanks"
(If you forgot from the last chapter I'm gonna say it again. I know that PLL came out in 2010 but I'm just obssessed with that show right now so just go with it!)
"Oh yeah! I was just about to ask you, wanna come over and watch PLL together?"
"Is that a question? You know I wouldn't skip hanging out with you! Never!"
This made both of them laugh
"I know, I know! Especially if Pretty Little Liars are involved"
"You got that right!"
"I always do"
"You got another one" she giggled.
"When are you gonna come?"
"Um...well I still didn't dress up or brush my teeth or straighten my hair or do my make up or-"
"Okay okay I get it"
She laughed
"Can you come over and pick me up? I don't know where my driver liscence is"
"You are the most irresponsible person I've ever known"
"I know! Now will you come or what?"
"I guess I have no choice. I'll be right there. At least try brushing your teeth and dressing up before I come. You don't have to do your hair and make up. It's just me"
"That's the point. It's you" she mumbled.
"Sorry, did you say something?"
"No, not at all. I'll see you then, I guess?"
"Yeah, see ya"
"Bye. Oh, and hurry up sk8ter boi" she giggled
"I will sk8ter girl." He laughed and hung up.

Later at Evan's place...

"Dude if there is one person I hate more than A, it's Jenna. Plus Toby is innocent!" Avril said
"Yeah but what if Jenna is A?"
"How can a blind girl be the all seeing one?"
"Well Ezra Fitz said it himself, she may be blind but she sees more than an undamaged person does"
"Maybe but I just....I just hate her man! She reminds me of Chloe"
Evan's face turned to sadness for a moment.
"I-I'm really sorry Evan! I shouldn't have mentioned her!"
"It's okay, I need to get over her anyway"
"I thought you already did"
"Well I sadly didn't"
"Look, I'm here for you, and I always will!"
"I'm lucky to have you as my best friend, Av."
She seemed hurt at the two reched words, best friend. Evan noticed that and tried to fix his sentance.
"I mean-"
She cut him off with a sweet smile.
"I'm lucky to have you as my unreturned first love best friend" they laughed
"What is that exactly?"
"You."
"I didn't ask who i-"
Evan was cut off by Avril's shocking action.
Avril's and Evan's lips connected for the second time. This time

It was no dare...
