Macy's POV
I'm muzzled and tied to a pole in the middle of the field, gasoline all around me.
Maddy drops the match and a ring of fire rages up around me. "Oops" She says laughing.
"Ok now go get her or watch her burn. I prefer to watch her burn but that's just me." Matt tells Marshall. Well I'm going to die today. I love Marshall but his fear is to controlling. The only pup I'm thinking about is Cade. How nice it would be to see him one last time.
I hear digging. Is he really coming for me? No. Why would he do any thing for me?
I feel it getting closer to me every second. I'm going to die. I hear more digging.
"Macy!?" Marshall? I start making as much noise as I can. Squealing and clapping.
His head pokes through the flames.
"Macy." He says. I'm really surprised. He's actually here. Now I feel bad. I should have trusted him. He starts frantically untying the knot. The fire touches my tail and I squeal.
"Go!!!" He yells. He made a path by digging up the flaming earth. It was pretty wide when he came though now not so much. Good thing I can run.
I run. Trust me when I say that I fly. I love flying.
I make it out of the wall of fire but I don't stop running. I keep going. I want to be free. I'm just about to reach the edge of the forest when I'm yanked back aggressively.
"Where do you think your going?" Chris.
"Away from you." I say.
"Your a fast runner, but I'm just as fast."
"I hate you so much."
"Shut it. It's not me it's Matt! I told him I wanted to get back at Katie and Ryder and he forced me to do this. I hate him."
"Why can't you just quit?" I ask.
"He's got a secret that I don't want any one to know about."
"What is it?" I ask.
"I'm not going to tell you." He laughs.
"Whatever." We walk back to the rest of them in silence.
"Hey look what I found!"
Oh my gosh.
