Ryder POV
"Marshall! You're okay!" I say running towards us.
"Ryder!" Marshall says jumping into my arms.
"I was so worried" I say hugging him half to death. "Wait, Chris you did this?"
"No it was Maddy." Chris says humbly.
"Chris helped." Maddy says smiling.
"Thank you all so much." I say.
"Any thing for a bro." Chris says. Wait. Did he just call me his bro? I've never been called a bro before. Does Chris actually want to be friends with me?
"Bye guys." Cade says. Macy and Cade walk away.
Macy's POV
"So... they told you that I sold you like a slave?" A beautiful dog says.
"Yeah. Stupid right?" I say.
"What's stupid is that you actually believed them." He says.
"I just didn't understand why someone would put their needs second and mine first." I say.
"Because Marshall and I love you." He says. "And I probably will always love you." That one sort of hit me hard. Could he really love me with the same passion that Marshall does? Maybe.
Chase's POV
"We've been walking forever I'm getting tired."
"I just have to get his scent that's it." I say. I have a scent, but it's not Marshall, it's someone else.
"It's getting dark." She whines.
"You can go back but I'm going to keep looking." I say.
"Fine I'm leaving" Skye says strutting away.
"Wait for me." I say. She laughs.
"What happened to keep looking?" She says.
"I changed my mind." I say smiling sleepishly.
"Whatever, tough guy." She laughs. My cheeks grow red with embarrassment and a little bit of anger that quickly dies when I see her laughing face.
She's perfect.
