Getting back

Marshall's POV

All of us watch in surprise as my sister and Cade kiss for a really long time.

"What do we do with them now?" I hear Maddie whisper to Matt. I think Matt is like their leader or something.

"Do remember that waterfall over by the old tree house?" He answers.

"That's so cruel! I won't do it." Maddie whispers.

"I'll tell them your secret." Matt whispers.

"No! No. Okay fine."

I had no idea what waterfall they were talking about but I didn't like it.

All of a sudden Maddy grabs me and starts running into the woods.

"HEY! GET THEM!!" Matt yells. I look over Maddy's shoulder and I see Chris running after us. Wait no. He has Cade! Macy runs right past Maddy and I with ease.

From the looks of it, no one'a running after us so I think we're in the clear.

We slow down to a walk and Maddy puts me down. Chris does the same with Cade.

"Do any of you know where we are?"

"Yeah" Cade and Macy say in unison. They walk next to each other like they always do but I would swear that they are standing closer than usual.

"Thank you Chris." Maddy says.

"For what? I should be thanking you! Your the one who had enough courage to run away." Chris says.

"They were going to throw them in the waterfall and then just leave them to die."

"WHAT!?" Macy, Cade, and Chris say in unison.

"Yeah. I just had to get you guys out of there before I felt ashamed and guilty and depressed." Maddy says. Chris gives Maddy a hug.

"What you did was still really brave" I say.

"Your welcome guys!" Maddy says.

We walk for a bit Maddy and Chris talking and Cade and Macy talking. We get to the tree line and the new found sun feels for some reason, really good right now.

"MARSHALL!! Your okay!!"
