Toni's pov

"Toni, toni" I heard a voice say as they shock my shoulder and I turned round "Cher you okay?" I said softy "no I feel sick but I don't want to go to the toilets alone cause it's dark" she said "okay let me stick a hoodie on quickly" I say getting up and and squeeze her hand for comfort.
It was 4:23am and I was currently holding Cheryl hair and rubbing her back as she was sick in the toilet. I felt kinda bad for getting her drunk.
Once she stopped being sick I helped her back to the tent "are you okay now" "yeah actually I feel so much better now that I've gotten it all up" she says clearly a lot more comfortable "sorry" I say looking down "for what tt?" She questioned "for getting you drunk and then you were sick" " Toni I wanted to and it was a good night, in fact it was almost the best night I've ever had" she say "well then what's the best night you've ever had" I ask curiously "well the night that we snuck off to the lake, that is by far the best night of my life" she says with no lack of sincerity and I just smile and say "snap".
As we get back into our tent Cheryl says she's not tired so I pull up a movie on my phone and she's sitting watching it in my bed so I decided to go get some sweets since they had a help your self bit for anyone who got hungry. As I was heading back I noticed something in jugheads tent a lot of movement and giggling and quiet moans omg is Betty and jughead at it. I quickly leave and enter mine and Cheryl's tent red faced "babe what's up" Cher says as she takes the candy from my hands "umm your uhh your cousin and jughead are at it in jugheads tent" I say "ohh" she says eating a sweet and just laughs "to be fair I've caught them before" "what!?!?" "Yeah" she says with wide eyes "not pretty" "no I can't imagine it would have been" is say back and lean my head on here shoulder to watch the movie which turns out she's changed to Brooklyn nine nine "babe I love this show" I say "me to" she says leaning her her on mine.
We watch some episodes of Brooklyn nine nine and we hear everyone getting up so check my phone for the time 7:54am "want to get breakfast?" I say and she nods her head so we head out to get something to eat.
We had breakfast and it wasn't raining to day but it was still quite cold. As we sat with our friends "cousin" Cheryl whispered with a smirk oh no "Yeah Cheryl?" She whispered back "what was it that Toni heard coming from jugheads tent last night" and Betty's face turns red and she looks at me. Me and Cher just laugh and eventually so does Betty.
Today's activity was walking up a massive hill which would take approximately 1 hour and at the top we would have a pick nick with a view and this gave me a idea, since me and Cheryl started dating I haven't took her on an actual date so I walked up behind her and taped her on the shoulder "hey Cher" "cher tt" "listen so I was thinking this hole picknick thing we could make it like a date since I haven't took you on one yet and we could sit and talk about stuff and get to know each other like favourite food or animals or" I was rambling when Cher put her finger to my lips "shhh" she giggled "of course I want to go on a date with you tt" she said which was a relief that she didn't think it was a stupid idea.
As we walked up this hill kinda mountain cause it's tall honestly I don't know what you'd call it but anyway as we walked up it I held Cheryl's hand occasionally snapping pictures and just talking with Cheryl getting to know her and flirting a little cause I always do
When we reached the top we sat out or blanket grabbed some snacks and looked out over the edge at the amazing view as I got to know Cheryl better, it was nothing big just little things like favourite food, favourite drink, favourite animal, favourite movie and so forth which was nice because we didn't have to dive right in and we were starting to gain a trust because we were getting to know one another which is just the foundation a good relationship needs to last, start small and work your way up and like Archie said, have patience she might not want to reveal all just yet and I get that and maybe it would be better in the future because she'll know that she can trust me which is exactly what I want, I want her to feel safe with me like she could come to me for anything and not feel scared or ashamed or embarrassed no matter what and I want to be the same with her. "Babe?" Cheryl says pulling me out of my thoughts "yeah?" I say back "what ya thinking bout?" "Just stuff" I say with a shrug of my shoulder and lean on hers and she leans her head on me. This was where I wanted to be.
"Okay kids let's get everything packed up and head back" one of the leaders said and we all got packed up and headed back. I was hand in hand with Cheryl in a comfortable silence when it hit. The rain was heavy and all at once "ohh no my hair" Cheryl whinnied "here" I said as I took my jacket off and over both of our heads both holding up an end of it for shelter "thanks babe" she said "anytime" I returned.
As we arrived at our tent I stopped both of us outside of it. "I really enjoyed out date Cher" "me to" she said with a smile, it was still poring down and we still had the jacket over our head so I took my one free and to her face and pulled her in for a soft kiss and it felt magical, as the rain was falling all around us, after a few seconds we pulled away and smiled as we looked into each other's eyes just admiring each other "I know I'm supposed to leave and go home as you enter your house back pressed agents the door holding your heart cause I just took your breath away and I leave with a massive grin all the way home and my family questions why I'm so happy, but we kinda both stay in this tent for the next two days and it's raining so we're both gonna have to get in and try and hide it from each other so we don't look stupid" I say jokingly with a smile and she laughs "ohh how will I ever manage to hide it" she mocks back jokingly and we both laugh and go in the tent and text our folks back home with a quick up date and a we're okay to satisfy them.
The rain never stopped so we stayed in all night watching moves and playing games before we eventually went to our beds "night tt" she said sleepily from across the tent "night Cher" today has been amazing and I can't wait for many more dates with this girl.
