It had been a couple of weeks since Cheryl had gotten the walking boot on and she was walking fine without the crutches. i was about to snooze my alarm when i saw a text no doubt from Cheryl so i picked it up turning my alarm off and read it
Cheryl: omg TT are you awake!!!!!!xx
Cheryl: my mom just got off the phone with the doctor xx
Cheryl: i have to go in and i might get my cast off today!!!xx
Cheryl: TONIIIIIII xx
Cheryl: WAKEEEE UPPP xx
ohh my god i thought as i dialed up her number while jumping out of bed and getting ready. once she answered she sounded so happy and wanted me to go with her and Alice so i rushed over there. Now we sat in the hospital me and Alice waiting hoping she'll come walking out there with no cast and sure enough she did, "ohh my god c" "i knowwww my leg feels so light" i laugh as she starts moving her leg about.
Once we go back to Cheryl's we decided to go on a date to pops since she didn't have any crutches or casts on and the doctor said that it had healed up perfect and it would only feel a little funny because she was used to having a cast on and now she doesn't.
once we go into pops we go over to or usual booth that e have been sitting at every time since out first date. As we order our usual when its just us, which is a strawberry milk shake to share along with a large fries to share and a burger each.
once we we're finished i got the bill to which Cheryl threatened to kick me since she could now, and we now headed to sweet water this time we went for a walk along the river side when i realised "ohh my god babe" i say and she looks at me " in all the excitement we've completely for got that it was two months ago you pushed me in the lake at camp" and she laughs " two months wow cant believe you haven't ran for the hills yet" she jokes as we sit on a nice spot by the river and she looks at me her face turning to mine before giving me a quick kiss before looking back out at the river and resting her head on my shoulder.
after a while we walked back to the car and went back to Cheryl's, me driving since she only just got her cast off so it would take a few weeks, more just for her to get her confidence cause her car was an automatic. once we got back to hers we went in and watched TV with Alice, Betty and Jughead since we hadn't as down to all talk for a while. once it hit half nine i got up and announced my departure and every one say'd by except for cher who walked me to the door and gave me a deep kiss "al see you tomorrow?" " as always bombshell" i say and she smiles "drive safe" "always do babe".
once i get home i do my usual, text Cheryl and go for a shower and then go to bed. two months, i think insane to think how things have worked out.
