The revelation [Peterxreader]

Chapter 3: The truth

The boy sees how my eyes slowly fill up with tears.

He looks away, not knowing what to do. 

I think about my past and how I screwed up when my vision goes black.

I wake up in the boy's bed.

I bolt up and look around.

What the fuck happened?  

Then the door opens, the boy with the brown curly hair walks in.

"Here you go, you must be thirsty" he says when he hands me a glass of water.

I take a sip of it as he sits down in a chair next to the bed I slept on.

"What's your name?" he asks.

"Y/n" I respond, "and yours?"

"I'm Peter... Parker" he says with a little smirk on his face.

"Do you live alone or...?" I question.

"I live with my aunt... May" he replied "she's the sweetest".

I look out the window while drinking the rest of my water.

"Do you want to tell me how you ended up in my house?" Peter asks with a serious look on his face.

"I would but... you probably won't believe me..." 

"Oh... well I have seen crazy stuff so I guess you could tell me" he mutters.

"Okay... the thing is you let me in...I-I can kinda like shapeshift into animals" I say awkwardly.

Peter remains silent, a really confused look on his face.

He looks kinda cute

"Uhm... a-are you okay?" I stutter.

"Yeah yeah I'm fine uhm... can you show me?" 

"You don't believe me?"

"I do but it actually sounds really cool so I'd like to see it... i-if you don't mind of course" he replied.

"Okay, but could you please turn around when I transform back... and don't look until I say so" I say

He looks at me confused "Why?" he asks.

"Because I will be uhm... naked..."

His face turns bright red "Oh y-yeah I-I won't look" he stutters.

"Okay... well then I'll just transform I guess..." I suggest.

Within a second I transformed into my cat form. 

"See, you let me in your house like this" I say.

"Wow... I... that's cool"

"Now please turn around" 

Peter turns around like he promised so I can turn back to human and put on some clothes.

"You can watch now" I say when I tuck my hair out of the hoody I 'borrowed'.

"That was really impressive Y/n" he chuckles.

I smile at him and sit down on the bed.

"How did you get these powers?" he asks excitedly.

But when he sees the sad expression on my face he stops smiling.

"I-I'm sorry... I didn't mean to make you sad" he stutters.

"It's okay... I just no one ever asked about it..." I explain "Y-you're actually the first person who knows this"

"Well maybe it's a story for another time then" he suggests.

"Yeah" I reply.

A little while later May gets home.

Peter introduces me to her and tells her I will be staying over until he finds me somewhere else to live.

May questions him for a second but then agrees.

Later that evening we eat dinner together and May and Peter tell me some amazing stories about their lives.

I just listen because I don't really have much amazing things to tell them about my life.

The next morning I wake up to a knock on my door.

Peter pokes his head around it and whispers "Wake up sleepy head".

I groan and get out of bed to open the curtains and put on some clothes for the day.

Then I walk to the living room and sit down next to Peter just as May serves us breakfast.

"This is the first real breakfast I had in a while" I say as I look down at the delicious looking pancakes.

Peter chuckles and changes the subject "How about I take you to school today?"

I hesitate before answering his question "I've never really been to a highschool before"

"That's okay... I'll just show you around and you can take a few classes with me if you'd like... I'm sure the teachers won't mind."

"O-okay... well yes I'll come"
