Chapter 4: School

Oh god I'm going to school today, and I have no idea what to expect

"Y/n! Are you ready to go?" Peter yells from the living room.

"Yeah I'm coming!" I yell back.

When we arrive at Peter's school the fat boy walks towards us.

He greets Peter with a cool handshake and then turns to me.

"Hey, I'm Ned.... What's your name?" he asks.

"I'm Y/n... nice to meet you" I reply.

"Let's head inside" Peter says.

The halls are so crowded, how can people survive here for so long?

"So, this is my locker" Peter says to me "I store some of my stuff in here, like books and my jacket."

"I-I kinda know what a locker is..." I mumbled.

"Oh... well let's head to class then" he suggested.

This really is some kind of hell I hope this is the last time I'll have to experience this

I sit in a crowded cafetaria with Peter and Ned when four guys walk up to us.

"Is this your little girlfriend Penis Parker" a guy with black sleek hair asks with a judgemental voice.

"N-no she's just a friend" Peter replies insecure.

"So what's your name beauty?" the guy asks me.

"Uhmm I'm Y/n" I answer hesitantly.

He winks at me and takes my hand, ready to pull me with him when

"Let her go!"

Peter stands up from his place and looks the guy straight in the eyes.

"Or what Parker? Are you gonna hit me with your little baby hands?" the guy laughs.

Peter hesitates for a moment, but he already distracted the guy enough.

I pull back my hand and slap the guy on the face.

He looks at me, eyes wide.

"Oh I'll get you for that" the guy warned me before he and his friends walked away.

"Who was that?" I ask.

"That was Flash Thompson" Ned answers "He's not very nice like you might have noticed."

Peter is staring at me wide eyed "y-y-you slapped him"

"Yes I did Peter... what's the matter?"

"T-that was really bad ass" he adds.

"Thanks I guess" I reply a little confused why Peter is so in shock.

"Flash actually bullies Peter... like a lot" Ned says breaking the silence between the three of us.

"Oh... W-well someone got to teach him a lesson right" I say "and Peter stood up against him too, he caused a distraction so I could get my hand back and slap him"

"Y-yeah I stood up to him" Peter adds confidently.

"Guys, we should head to class" Ned speaks up.

Finally it's over.

Peter and I take the train back to his apartment.

"How did you like your first day of highschool?" he asks.

"Uhm... I really hated it to be honest... there are so many people" I reply.

"I get it... I hate that part too but I do like learning stuff and taking classes"

"Well... I didn't understand much of what they were saying so I didn't really learn anything" I mumble.

"I'm sorry to hear that you don't have to come tomorrow since you're not really a student though"

"But what if that Flash guy bothers you again you won't have my by your side to protect you" I grin.

"Are you making fun of me?"

"Maybe"

I smile at him and he smiles back.

"Are you really okay with me sleeping in your bed?" I ask while putting on my pyjamas.

"Yeah, I'll just take the couch like yesterday It's no big deal" he answers from the living room.

I lay down in bed.

Shit... I forgot to turn off the light

"Peter?!" I yell.

Peter storms into the bedroom.

"What is it?" he says confused.

"Could you turn off the light please?" I smirk.

"Of course" he turns off the light "goodnight princess"

"Night Peter"

The next morning I wake up to the sun peeping trough the curtains.

What time is it?

I look at the clock.

11 am. Peter already left for school and May is at work.

I roll out of bed and stumble to the kitchen to get breakfast.

I decide to watch TV while I eat my cereal.

Boring... Nah... The news is way too depressing Ah Spongebob finally some quality content.

I chill in front off the TV the entire day whoops.

When Peter gets home he sits next to me on the couch.

"Y/n, I found you a new home... I mean you can't live here forever right."

I look up from the TV "A new home?"

"Yeah, don't worry they are really kind people, I'm sure you'll fit right in." he replies with a smile on his face.

He looks cute when he smiles

"Where is this home exactly?" I ask.

"Your new home will be the Avengers facility"
