The revelation [Peterxreader]

Chapter 8: Located

I put my collar against the window so Tony can overhear the conversation.

"I got the package, we can start extracting information from them as soon as we get it to the lab" the guy in the apartment says to his phone. I can't hear what the other guy has to say but their next move is pretty clear.

"Let's meet in an hour at the place we first met."

"Okay, yes, bye." the guy puts down his phone and starts gathering some things.

A little while later it has gotten pretty dark and I sit hidden in a bush as I see the guy leave the building. I follow the guy to another shady place, this time it's a spot at the edge of a forest. He waits there, and a few minutes later another guy approaches. I move a few trees closer to overhear their conversation.

"Make sure this arrives at the lab safely otherwise we'll both be in trouble".

"Yes I will, you can trust me".

Then they both leave.

I follow the new guy, he has blonde curls sticking out from underneath his cap. I trail behind a bit and contact Tony.

"Do you want me to follow this guy?" I whisper into my collar.

"Yes, let's see where he's going, this might be a lead".

Meanwhile the guy gets into his car and starts the engine.

"How small can my collar shrink?" I ask.

"I don't know, I haven't tested it on things smaller than a cat" Tony answers with a concerned voice.

"Well... we're about to find out"

I transform into a bird, the collar shrinks a bit but not small enough

"I'm leaving you here Tony, I'm sorry but we need to find them".

"No... Y/n... just come back, we'll track them down another time..." his voice dies away as I fly up to follow the car.

I follow the car for about half an hour when it finally stops in front of a normal looking building. The guy steps out of his car and takes the package inside. I observe the building and the surroundings for a little while to make sure I can find it again, then I start to look around the building.

There are not a lot of windows but I manage to find one that's open. I decide to do something I've never done before and transform into a fly.

Thank god I have normal vision... if I would see the world the same way as a fly, I'd go nuts.

I fly through the open window and start exploring the building. On the second floor there's a weird laboratory. I fly down the stairs to the first floor, there's nothing interesting there but a staircase to the basement. I fly down another floor to find some kind of prison. It's locked off from the rest of the basement by metal door with some bars in it to form a window. I fly through it and see hopeless locked up people everywhere around me. Though, I don't see people I recognize. 

I fly further down the hall and find another metal door. I fly through it to find my friends in glass cells. The cells are positioned against the walls of another creepy laboratory. There are two people sitting behind a desk looking at something under a microscope. I fly into Peter's cell through an air hole in the glass. 

"Peter" I whisper.

Peter looks around with a confused look on his face. 

"Y/n?" he whispers back, looking at the scientists behind the desks "I... are you here?"

"Yeah... I'm a fly right now" I smile at myself "is it okay if I come sit on your hand?"

"It's all yours" he whispers with a smile while he sticks out his hand for me to sit on it "I've missed you".

"I've missed you too, you don't know how boring it is to be around serious adults all the time" I chuckle.

Then suddenly the scientist get up and leave the room.

"Phew, now we can talk instead of whisper" Peter says.

"Peter, who are you talking to?" I hear Natasha say.

"He's driving himself crazy" Clint answers her.

"No... no I'm not driving myself crazy" Peter chuckles innocently up "Y/n is here".

I fly to the table the scientists sat earlier, it's located in the center of the room, and transform myself into my cat form.

"Hey y'all" I look around to see everyone staring at me.

"You... how." Bruce stutters.

"What he means to say is, how did you get in here?" Natasha says.

"I followed a car witch led me to this facility and then I snuck in as a fly" I answer them.

"Okay you have about a minute before the guards will figure out someone else is in here so I think you should leave" Natasha orders.

"Yes, go and tell Tony our location" Steve adds.

"I will, we will come up with a plan to free you" I say as I transform back into a fly.

"Wait Y/n, can you come into my cell for a second?" Peter hesitantly says.

I fly into Peter's cell and transform into a cat.

"Wha-"

But I can't finish my sentence because Peter pulls me into a hug. I plant my head into his chest and let out a heavy sigh.

"This feels nice" I say "but I should really leave now, I'll come get you in a few days just hold on."

"See you then Y/n"

Then I transform again and fly back to the avengers facility.

AN: I'll probably be writing a little less since I have a test week coming up and I really need to fix my grades :)
