Chapter 13: Olive

The morning after prom, I wake up and turn around to find Peter still asleep. I check the clock.

11AM, I should wake him up...

"Peter" I whisper "wake up sleepy head", Peter groans and I feel his hands grabbing my waist to pull me close to his body. He kisses the top of my head.

"It's nice that your voice was the first thing I heard today" he says with a raspy voice. We lay in silence for a moment before hearing a knock on the door.

"Y/n?" I hear Natasha yell "remember you have training in ten minutes".

Crap, I forgot

I try to get up from the bed but Peter doesn't let go of my waist. "Peter I need to go" I insist "or I'll be late and Nat will kill me". He finally lets go of my waist so I can get ready for my training.

After my training I'm exhausted. I lay down on the couch in the living room for a bit to rest when Peter comes walking up to me. "Hey princess, had a good training?" he asks as he sits down next to my feet.

"It was exhausting but fun" I state "I also learned a new move to use against people who are much heavier than me".

"That's cool, do you want me to get you a drink or something to eat?" Peter questions while standing up and heading to the kitchen to get something for himself too.

"Yeah, I'd like some ice tea and a cookie please" I yell. A minute later Peter comes to sit next to me on the couch again. We decide to watch a movie together and snuggle up under a blanket.

"Some friends are coming over for dinner at my place tonight, do you want to join?" Peter says when the movie ends.

"I'd love to" I reply smiling, "who exactly are going to be there?"

"Uhm, Ned, MJ and two others you'll meet when we get there" he smiles back while putting an arm around me and looking me in the eyes "I'm sure you'll like them".

Another movie later we decide to go to Peters' to set things up for dinner. Happy drives us. When we arrive Peter starts preparing dinner and I set up the table before helping Peter. "I think this is going to be fun" he says while putting a cake in the oven for dessert.

"Yes, I can't wait to see Ned and MJ again" I cheer. A second later the doorbell rings, I walk over and open it to find four people. Ned, MJ, a girl whose eyes seem very familiar and a handsome boy. The girl has blonde, curly hair, freckles and electric blue eyes. The boy is tall, has black tousled hair and jade eyes. They step inside, I give Ned a high-five and hug MJ before the two strangers come walking up to me.

"Hey, I'm Nathan nice to meet you" the boy says while sticking out a hand for me to shake and running his other hand through his hair.

"I'm Y/n" I smile awkwardly while shaking his hand.

"Hi Y/n, I'm Olive" the girl says with a fake smile plastered on her face. I shake her hand and we sit down around the table to eat. We chat while eating the delicious food Peter made. I sit in between Peter and Nathan, MJ, Ned and Olive sit on the other side of the table. I notice some food on Peter's cheek and wipe it away with my finger.

"Are you guys a couple or something?" Olive asks loudly to make sure everyone hears her question.

"Yeah" Peter speaks innocently while putting a hand on my thigh under the table. I give Olive a weak smile and she glares back at me.

When everyone is done eating, Peter and I decide to clean up while the others have a drink in the living room. "Did you notice the way Olive looked at me when you confirmed we are a couple?" I ask Peter while putting the leftovers in the fridge.

"No, and I think you shouldn't worry about it" Peter responds while coming closer to me "I'm all yours" he whispers in my ear. I turn around to kiss him when MJ enters the kitchen.

"Whoops, am I interrupting something?" she asks as she puts her hands in front of her eyes to give us some privacy.

I feel my cheeks turn red and Peter looks at me awkwardly, "No... well yeah maybe" I stutter. We both turn our heads towards MJ who carefully removes her hands so she can see us again.

"You guys are actual idiots" MJ chuckles, I hold back my laugh "Shit, I forgot what I needed to do here" she pauses for a second before continuing "ah, I'm here to ask you guys if you want to join a game of truth or dare".

"You can join them Y/n, I'll finish up and come afterwards" Peter says, he plants a kiss on my forehead and softly pushes me towards MJ.

MJ and I join the others. "Okay, who starts?" Olive inquires "Ned?" she immediately answers her own question.

"Yeah sure I'll go first" Ned hesitantly says, "uhmm Nathan, truth or dare?".

"I'll start with truth" Nathan replies with a smile playing around his lips.

"Okay, let me think of a question" Ned says, MJ sits down next to him and whispers something in his ear. "Yeah, that's a good question" he says to MJ before turning to Nathan "who in this room do you think is the prettiest?"

"That's an easy one" he smirks while running his hand through his hair and looking at me "Y/n of course". I give him a little smile and he returns it.

"Okay, now Nathan has to ask someone" Olive booms enthusiastically. She looks at Nathan intensely and he decides to ask Olive a question.

"Do you have an eye on someone at the moment?" Nathan asks her.

"Yes I do" she replies with, once again, a fake smile on her face "now I get to ask a question, let me think" she says while already turning her head to me "Y/n!" she exclaims.

"Let's go with a dare because y'all are pussies" I joke, everyone laughs but Olive, she just sits there with an evil smile on her face.

"Kiss Nathan"
