Guiding Star

Chapter 2- Entrance Exam:

"Remember to pack your lunch and make some new friends sweetie!" Sam said mockingly and Roman rolled her eyes.

"It's just the hero exam, they still have to test me." Roman said slipping on her bracelet. "I'm also going to be the only person taking the exam so I have to make a show of it." Roman said winking.

"Fine, fine. I charge up right now." Sam said resting his hands against the wall and the lights went black for a few minutes. "There I'm full." Sam said his appearance looking more colorful.

"Thank you love, though I'm going to have to phase to show off my quirk." Roman said shuttering and Sam held her hand against his.

"You'll be fine, don't worry I'll protect you. There's no poltergeists in the training grounds." Sam said with a reassuring nod.

"God I hope your right." Roman said shaking her head. She slipped on the ring and headed out the door with a small bag thrown over her shoulders. She drove down to the school and parked. She got lead into the school by a pro hero and to the entrance examination arena.

"So you must be Roman Smith, from America?" The principle Nezu said his ears twitching.

"Yep! Straight from America." Roman said cheerily. "Mom and Pop thought it was time for a change and my best bet of becoming a pro hero."

"Well U.A would be proud to have you as a student, you just have to pass the exam. What is your quirk exactly?" Nezu asked and Roman hummed.

"We I really haven't had a name put to it yet. I'm able to pull energy from electric currents and short things out, from this I can also phase and then invisible for a awhile" Roman said nodding her head and Nezu looked intrigued.

"I'll see it to believe it." Nezu said climbing onto a stool overlooking the window. A busty black haired woman escorted her to the arena.

Of course the robots were all still working and full power, not even a break for her working on her own. Take down enough robots and avoid the harder ones that are practically indestructible. She strode into the arena and looked around, a few spirits but none of them died here.

She knelt on the ground and drew on the energy of the spirits around her. Feeling the energy surging within her and Sam helping she disappeared from sight. Knowing there the robots mechanical hearts were so to speak she sent large electric charges through the robots.

"Poltrogeist, Roman phase out." Sam said desperately grabbing her arm sending chills down her spine. She fell to the floor gasping. Sam helped her up and her skin shimmered for a second before she stood up on shaky legs. All around her the body parts of robots crumpled to the ground fire spreading through some of them.

"That was all the robots." Nezu said through the speaker, "in only ten minutes." he sounded shocked and Roman felt as if she could sleep for a week.

She stumbled back to the entrance and Sam hid himself away in her necklace. She leaned on the doorway as all the Pro Hero's came to see her. She gave them a weak smile as she collapsed to the floor.

"Get her to Recovery Girl." Midnight said lifting her upwards and leading her towards the medical room. She sat on the bed and an old woman came over to her.

"He pushed himself way to far. He made a new record and got himself into the school." Midnight said clapping her on the shoulder causing her to whine. "Sorry sorry, I got ahead of myself there."

"Records are meaningless if this is a one time wonder." Roman groaned laying into the bed.

"Where does it hurt sweetie?" Recovery Girl asked and Roman sat back up.
