Guiding Star

Chapter 16- Engagement:

Roman put on her new undergarments as well as a nice looking dress she picked out, now she never wore dresses so she thought it was a nice change. She took her phone and Cerberus trotted along with her happily. She didn't remember where the gardens were exactly but she was really good with places, as long as she remembered what it looked like- she could get there. She headed to the main part of the city and climbed up on the roof tops. When in doubt always gain the high ground, it helps you see things.

Roman jumped from building to building until she caught sight of a red and gold flower. She stepped into the Shadow realm and dropped down the levels of building to the streets. She made her way over to the garden and shifted out of the spirit realm. She saw Aizawa admiring a purple rose and she wish she had a camera, he looked so peaceful. Slinky was at his feet lounging in the sun and she wished Aizawa could see what she saw.

"I found you." Roman said with a smile and Aizawa turned around to her with a smile.

"So you did." Aizawa said with a smile he pulled her into his hands and gave her the gold and red flowers she loved so much. "I've been meaning to ask you a question." Aizawa started off with and Roman raised a brow.

"We've known each other officially today for four years, when i followed you to your apartment to talk to you the first time i was met by a scared woman. The Roman back then was reckless no offense but she won my heart. Every time we talked on those rooftops, even as you were posing as a school student you still talked to me- even called me a friend and told me your past. I fell in love with you the moment i saw you in that shabby apartment and you offered me beer." Aizawa said grabbing onto her hands and Roman started to tear up.

Shota Aizawa:

He had her hands and the ring in his pocket. He pulled the ring out and bent down on one leg. "Will you marry me?" He asked opening up the ring box to show off the ring he bought. It was a diamond ring with ruby red gems surrounding the ring, it reminded him of her.

Romans hazel eyes shined bright with happiness, tears ran down her face. "Of course i'll marry you!" She said kneeling down and hugging him. Aizawa at that point wasn't afraid of getting rejected he was so happy. He slipped the ring onto her finger and kissed her with passion. She pulled away smiling the brightest smile he had ever seen.

"Let go home please, i feel like we've drawn unwanted attention." Roman giggled and Aizawa saw the crowd of people that were filming him. "We should probably tell Hizashi, Toshinori, and Nemuri before they break into our apartment." Roman said and Aizawa chuckled.

"Let's go then." Aizawa said lifting her up bridal style and carrying her out of the gardens. He opened up his car and set her down besides him. He drove back to their apartment and she didn't tear her eyes from the ring.

"I'm going to call everybody, I'm sure they would want to be over." Roman said as Aizawa parked the car in the apartment complex.

"Of course, I've already planned the entire day, propose and then come back home. Everyone come over and chats, we have dinner and they leave. Then it's just me and you for some alone time." Aizawa said winking making Roman smile even brighter.

"I'd like that." Roman said happily pulling out her phone and started to text everyone, she grabbed his hand and took a photo of course capturing the ring.

Aizawa was happy that she was so happy, it made his heart swell. He felt genuinely happy a feeling he though only Hizashi could make him feel. Aizawa grabbed Roman and carried her to the apartment where he tossed her on the bed.

Roman Smith:

Roman bounced as she landed on the bed and Aizawa fell down besides her. She couldn't believe that in a few months she would be Roman Aizawa. She smiled as she thought of that and Aizawa giggled from her side.
