Chapter 2

James began to question him. "Ok, mr. Logan, How are you feeling today? Describe it specifically."

"I feel a strong headache like a migraine. And strangely, I feel a slight urge to drink blood. And I feel somehow stronger like an increase of 20-40%." Logan answered.

"Hmm, how did you became or what happened to make you feel like that?" James asked.

"I went to explore the Chernobyl power plant. I explored the "Elephant's foot." I was 95 m from it when I heard strange voices telling me to drink blood in a coherent way." Logan explained.

"Final question: Do you regret of what you did?"

"Obviously yes! I shouldn't have explored that s**tty site. Dammit!"

"That ends our interview. Thank you for your cooperation." James said. He left the room before Logan asked something.

"I'm thirsty. Give me water." Logan requested.

"Medics give him some 'water'." James said.

The medics left and James followed as well. Logan walked around his cell, feeling a strange headache. He heard voices around his head.

"Showw yourr trueee potentialll."

"Wha? The f**k you talkin about!"

"You're evolving to something new! Maybe you just need time."

James went in the room holding a cup. He dropped a cup. Logan saw blood in the cup. He refused and complained.

"What the hell is this? Where did you even get this blood?" Logan asked.

Nobody answered. But all of a sudden he drank the whole cup, satisfied and wanted more. He wiped his face and licked the blood on his arm. James left the room. Two security guards were guarding the room.

James and his fellow colleagues and research staff, followed by his medics went to the conference room. The Chief science officer/ Executive walked in and sat in the middle of the large table.

"Sir Halsey. You're in time." James said.

"Thank you. So lets talk about the main thing here. Recently we have rescued Logan Parr from an accident in Chernobyl. James has proof that he's genetic makeup has changed. Explain the data you've collected Dr. James." Halsey said.

James handed out the files to each of one here. "As you can see from the data, Logan has experienced migraines, a very minor sensitivity to sunlight, slight urge to drink blood. And according to his blood analysis, it doesn't match with any blood type."

"So you're suggesting that we may have a vampire in our facility." Paulo doubted.

"Well, yes but technically, he hasn't suffer the other symptoms of what a vampire would exhibit." James replied.

"It must be terminated!" Katrina shouted.

"Now, now Kat." Everbody giggled. "We must further study this specimen and if it has some medical uses, we'll be using him. But it's necessary to keep it contained 24/7, with new guards guarding it every 6 hrs before switching. Now if everything goes wrong, proceed to follow protcol Alpha-Victor, understood?"

"Yes, sir." Everybody said in unison.

"James, Katrina, Spencer and Carrie, you'll be in charge of Logan. Take care of him and bring the results in 48 hrs. Dismissed!" Halsey ordered. Everybody left the conference room.
